Aviary vs PicMonkey

Hey again guys!
Just wanted to know which one was better, Aviary or Picmonkey. i used picmonkey and found that it was extremely similar to picnik, but was wondering which other sites are good too. Thanks!

I've been using picmonkey and so far I love it. The choices are good and it's super fast. I also like the whimsical feel of the site--it seems like the designers aren't too serious and fun is good. I showed it to my students today and their response was, "cool" so that's good. They tried it out right away and liked it.

I was pretty worried when I found out that Picnik was closing down, but I just found out about Picmonkey and I love it even more than Picnik! Really easy to use and there's a whole bunch of features that Picnik didn't even have! So I'm very happy that I found a new site :) I looked at Aviary briefly but I like the looks of Picmonkey a lot better so far.

Have not tried Aviary, but have started to look at Pikmonkey. I was relieved to see most of the piknik edits and more!

I have not used Aviary yet I have used Ipiccy which seems similar to picnic. I have been using Picnic for most of my editing while it's still here.

picmonkey is waaayyy better than picnik and has more things and works just as well as picnik!!! more effects too!! I haven't tried Aviary....

Thanks for this thread. I've been wondering what free editing programs there are out there that don't lose the exif info when you edit. I've checked out some shots from you folks and that seems fine with picmonkey, so I might try it. Have been using pixlr but that strips it.

I find PicMonkey even easier and better than Photoshop. Definately PicMonkey all the way :)

Thanks for info guys, was wondering what app I was going to use, I had been told that Lightroom is very good but wanted something quick and easy. Have just tried Picmonkey and am very happy with it...
