So, I'm having a fairly rough time at the moment. I also know that a number of my friends are too. And I know that a lot of people are facing exams right now which feel never ending...
Could you show me some photos/links of what gives you hope? I'm just really struggling to stay positive right now and struggling to see a way out of this mess and just seeing some happy stuff might make me feel better... I'll even pass a link onto any of my friends who aren't feeling great :)
If the exams are what are getting you down, then look at a diploma. I don't have one on my pics. I have my own, but I also have my great grandma's not so many women got them in the late 1800's.
Hope the rough time gets better soon. Not sure if this is "hope", but it shows how sometimes a simple gesture by one, can bring happiness to another. This should at least make you smile!
And if it's school that is getting you down take a look at this... My daughter made this for me when I finally graduated from college! I started the September after I graduated from High School and finished the December after Marisa graduated from college. It was a promise I made to myself that took 30 years to fulfill, but I did do it!
Heres one for you, also if you are studying towards a degree one inspiring idea I had and I made one for myself and a friend who was struggling with his course was to super impose our faces into a picture of someone wearing the ceremony robes, the same ones that you and your friends will wear when you qualify. That really gives a sense of 'Hope'. Good luck, I'm in the same position too!
Here's my photo of hope. Here stands a tree that is 600 years old. It has withstood everything thrown at it, it is scarred, it is battered, it is bruised. It is now a national treasure. The Curtain Fig of North Queensland.
Think about all the children worldwide who struggle to get education. http://afghangirlsschool.org/
Hang in there Naomi. I hope things will look better soon for you.

I don't know that my submissions will convey hope at all, but I'll try...
one day you will be able to reach it!
we all need someone to hold our hand sometimes
It will be here 600 years after my passing.
My children
And my husband in particular.
Or possibly faith in a higher power? (It's not for me, but alot of people have faith in God, he brings them hope and belief.)
Hang in there. One of my favourite quotes is
Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.
There is always hope.
