picmonkey

I usually put my watermark on my photos before uploading them to 365. I forgot w/ my latest ones, so am trying to access picmonkey through 365. uploading is taking FOREVER!!! It's ridiculous, I have to keep refreshing, and then it just times out. Anyone else having this issue?

Let me check....

OK, it started to load than stopped. Try going in through the site itself..picmonkey.com. I've been doing it that way anyway, because I hate to upload my unfinished pic. It worked for em that way earlier this evening. :-)

@5unflow3r yeah. i usually do that, but forgot to first. ugh. now i have to delete the pics on 365, and re upload the new ones. crap.
thanks!

At first picmonkey was REALLY fast for me, but I have noticed that it's becoming much slower. The traffic must be increasing.

@kimfaria I think you might be able to swap out with picmonkey--but that just may be a rumor or something

So, how do you do a "watermark" on picmonkey? I know how to do text, but I don't know how to make it look "see through"...it would be great if someone could tell me. I thought that was only possible on the big time editing softwares! Thanks in advance!!

@karvimages well, maybe I shouldn't have said 'watermark'... I use the text, and then fade it out so it's just about translucent..... works for me :-)

@karvimages Write your text, choose your colour, place it, slide the fade bar and bobs your uncle :)

@karvimages @shutterbugger what she said :-)
April 25th, 2012
@kimfaria @shutterbugger Thanks!! I've used the slide tool for other things but it never even crossed my mind to use it for that!! Thanks again :)

@karvimages Or you can skip the watermark altogether.

April 25th, 2012

I just had trouble with Picmonkey. I was trying to crop a picture and every time I hit save, the program crashed . I wonder if a lot of Picnik users have switched over to Picmonkey, so it is crashing because of traffic.

April 25th, 2012
When I first started using Picmonkey, it was fine. Yesterday I had some trouble with it. But for free editing, I will deal with it. :) I even had some trouble with Picnik saving sometimes too once I was using it to edit a lot of photos.
April 26th, 2012
@jennarichards i am having trouble with it saving for the last few days too.
April 27th, 2012
I've been having the same problems as a lot of you are having. Hopefully they can get the kinks worked out. I agree, I guess for free, I'll deal with it. I'm glad I'm not the only one having problems.
