I'm new to the 365 Project. This morning I noticed that I've got 59 pictures and 60 favored photos. Then I thought, "there are amazing pictures posted on this site daily... Why not post a photo each day and select a favorite each day?".
I think this is a way to give (by posting) and support (by favoring). I'm gonna' run with it!
I've noticed that some people fav few photos and others, like me, fav bunches. I so enjoy other 365ers work! I like to re-visit them for inspiration! I also like to help the friends I follow by faving and helping them make the popular page or top 20... I am always pleased to see a photo I have faved make it to those levels. I think this is a great idea... give and take!
@calm@superbeyotch Don't 'cha think? It keeps things balanced. Seriously, I think there is soooooo much missed by 'posting only'. It adds a whole different level to our projects. Glad you folks agree!
@eyesofbetsie I like that idea, but no way could I limit myself to one a day as FAV's.. I am like @calm I love to revisit all the wonderful photos and hopefully they will give me inspiration. I fav because they strike my fancy.. :-)
Favs mean different things to different people. Some fav rarely and others (like me) fav a lot. Perhaps it factors in to how many pics one looks at each day. I can usually view about 100 so more opportunity to fav. But picking one best one each day? That would be difficult for me.
@cheribug@michaelelliott You guys bring a different perspective and I LOVE THAT! I, too, thought that the 'favorite' selection was/is sacred. I'm just going to look a little closer, spend a little more time considering. Good points folks!
Wow- I'm not ultra picky with my favs but to have to find a fav every day might not always work for me. But you are absolutely right. The shots I've faved are always an inspiration to me!
I try to view & comment on as many shots as possible each day but I must admit I save my favs for absolutely special shots which for me have the WOW factor!
@olivetreeann@sjodell Wouldn't it be swell to create another catagory (or button) where we could separate favorites and inspiration. That would be swell! You have me considering all sorts of things now.
@eyeseeu I got mine today!! It's posted by a friend (ironically enough). I want to search outside my circle-o-folk and see new photos, meet new artists. It part of the magic of this community.
