I have come across a couple other 365r's who handcraft items for sale. I thought I'd start a thread so that we might be able to showcase our items for you to see.
I'm a vendor at Seattle's Pike Place Market and I understand the value of selling handcrafted items as well as purchasing handcrafted goods. As someone who relies on the sales of the items I make, I thought it a good idea to have a look and see what your neighbors might create for sale. @zuzana posted a pictures of her wares that made me think of posting this.
I can't begin to express how important it is to support local farmers, buy local, and buy hand made. It's hard for us to compete with China, so why not consider starting your holiday shopping right here??
If you make handcrafted goods, please post a picture to this thread AND a way that people might get a hold of you... (ie. website or etsy). Look and see what we are making.
Thanks so much for stoppin' by! x Betsie

This picture was taken by @seattle back in January... 4 months before I joined 365. It's my friend Yasmine selling for me that cold, January day.
My other passion is making jewelry, specifically chainmaille. I'm in a bit of a slump at the moment, so my Etsy account is a bit bare. But take a look!
i don't craft. but i love hand made and unique items, so looking forward to the responses from other crafters here! please be sure to post your websites with info on how to order... i'm starting to bookmark now - thinking ahead for the festivus season :)
@northy We'll ship anywhere! My friend, Yasmine, is in charge of the Etsy stuff... thanks be to God! I have no time for managing etsy, making product, and selling it. She's my rockstar friend who helps me when she can.
@eyesofbetsie great thread.....and great reminder to support our fellow artists! one of these days i might actually make it down to the market before closing.....lol
Thanks for starting this great thread Betsie!!! :-)
I make reversible hats and fabric baby shoes, just added some hairclips/pins, headbands and just finishing two boys hats and pair of shoes.
All things listed on the website are ready to ship, I make any hat or baby shoes to your specifications (as every child is different) and while my supply of fabric lasts (I buy limited amounts), as I prefer to always try something new. :-) Hat sizes 0 months-12 years and baby shoes sizes 0-18 months.
I just started my website 11 days ago ... so I'm a newbie ;-)

@eyesofbetsie I will be at Pikes in Seattle on Sept 20th will you be there and where is your shop located? i have a good friend that works at Pure Food Fish Market. Richard Hoage, do you know him by chance? Anyhow, I would love to stop by your shop and meet you.
Hi Bets! I had just a second here before I have to get things done before my shift. Here's the only item I've ever posted here from my little Etsy shop. I crochet one of a kind (OOAK) wearables for the professional woman. Some are my own designs. Some are crocheted by me by a few great designers...
@shirljess Sister, if you're gonna be in town I will be sure to sell that day. If I'm not at market I'm making product... My days vary. Definitely remind me when the time gets closer. I sell in 'the 3rd section' just north of th fish joint. I know faces, (many faces) we all say 'hi' and march about our day. I'm gonna' look your buddy up! Girlie, can't wait to meet you!!
@gizathecat Sister, it varies every day. Roll call is at 9 and we craft vendors choose our spots then. It's a farm preferred market so the farmers have first grabs on the space. We could potentially be in a different spot every day. I like to sell in the 3rd section (by Sosios Produce - best produce stand in Pike Place Market and Chuckar Cherries - where they sell chocolate covered cherries). You can also ask anyone on the mainline (any crafter) if I'm there, they'd be able to point you in my direction. Just remember Heavens to Betsie, that's my business name or "the girl that sells the pinup girl potholders". That will also get you to me. Be sure to let me know what day you're gonna' be there, as we are not there every day. Eager to meet more 365r's!
Here are my applique works made of felt and buttons, not for sale actually but I'm thinking of making some bags or iphone/ipad/laptop cases using the same technique. Hope you'll like it :)
@bluesteel44 These are DARLINA!! Love them! I think they're charming and wonderful!!!! Grrrl, you gotta' put this out there for people to buy. I hope you consider it!
