You won't go wrong with Sekonic.

The only light meter I use is a small Voigtlander that clips into the accessory shoe, and it's for pinpoint reads, not overall lighting; but it is accurate, intuitive, and so easy to use. http://www.cameraquest.com/voivcmet.htm

@grizzlysghost I like the look of that, I am on my second Leningrad 4, not because anything was wrong but because I gave my first one to a friend. I got the second one for 99p.
