I couldn't get a clear shot today. Cell phones and pns and giant things all over the place.
Show me your shots where other photographers got in your way.
titled "guy with big lens ruins my shot" this was near the end of the Portland Pride parade 2012. After maxing out card and battery on 2 cameras, I had just my phone.....
I was following the Queen of england around when she was in town and I lined up a shot where I would see the cars coming around a slight corner and down the long road.
I got my position, put on my 400mm lens and waiting... Just as I was about to take my shot I was photobombed by a photographer... Let just say I was somewhat annoyed as I didnt get the shot!!!!
To make matters worse I was flicking through the paper the next day and what do I see...... That photographers shot..... That was to be my shot in the paper not his..... double annoyed but i did learn a valuable lesson. Just because you have a really long lens doesn't mean you will get the shot.
Ugh weddings are the worst!!!! Especially if the bride is young. Bridesmaids are so annoying.
I shot a wedding a few weeks ago and they did a sand ceremony. I was all lined up for the perfect shot, and the other photographer stepped right in to it and stayed there until the end of the ceremony. This was all after she had made sure to tell me multiple times to be careful not to get in her shots.
Luckily, I have a friend who knows how to create photoshop miracles, and was able to get it out.
This is after it was fixed. I don't have the original any more.
Okay...he was the official wedding photographer so I guess I was the one who photobombed his shot, but I didn't realize it until I uploaded the photo. Some people are ridiculous about it though! I accidentally stepped in front of someone while taking photos at my daughter's college graduation and got ripped apart for it. Pretty much ruined the entire day for me and it wasn't like I had done it intentionally!!
