Credit lines

December 20th, 2012
I was just asked to use one of my photos, and I am of course tickled pink. Then I was asked how I would like the credit line to read, and that got me thinking.
I have a photography name that I made up for my 100 strangers project, but an artist uses their name. Ansel Adams wasn't Adams photography.

What do you use for a credit line? Does it depend on what kind of photography you are doing?

You took the photo and you should have the credit. If you are doing it for business then you would use the business name.

I use welcome to carol world, because it is unique to me. Crediting is also a form of branding, which an important part of any venture. Congrats, and credit the real you, business name or not.

I use "Oh my Dog you want to use my PHOTO?"

Or I would... if anyone ever, you know... wanted to use one and stuff.

Congratulations! :)
