@thisisthefox welcome to 365. Just upload a photo a day, follow some people and join in the discussions :-) Good luck and as @monkeykid says just enjoy it.
You get out of it what you put into it. Follow people and comment on their photos, join discussions and threads, try new things, if you technically want to try something ask how it was done, do not worth about the number of followers or being on the popular page because that is not a good way to judge your own talent. Also have fun.
@thisisthefox as I am also a new 365 member I found it very useful to browse pictures by tags to get inspired. Discussion section is a good place if you want to learn more about photography and technical stuff. Also it is worth to keep an eye on the latest uploads to find some interesting people to follow. Welcome to 365. I agree, browse the latest and the daily pictures, search by tags and follow those whose pictures catch your eye. We will be happy to follow back and share your journey this year. Happy New Year. dave
Welcome! on the day I hit 365 you are joining soIam giving you a follow as I plan to do a second year so will be able to watch you grow as I have done.
My advice is there will be times when you hit the photographic wall no inspiration loose your mojo whatever you want to call it! DO NOT GIVE UP!! take a shot even if it is rubbish post it .These guys on 365 will get you through they are an amazing bunch of people. apart from that dont think of it as a chore its meant to be fun your life in photos for a year what an amazing thing to have.

Welcome to 365!!! It's an amazing experience. I would just say that it's "post a photo a day", not "post a masterpiece a day". Don't get caught up in the stress of it - just enjoy! And, get involved - follow people, comment on photos, get involved in discussions, it will all help and there are some amazing photographers and sympathetic souls in the community.

Above all, take the pictures you want to take and have fun!
