Hi all, completely new to all this but I find myself enjoying it immensely. I must thanks Sarah - @scolgs for introducing me to the project. Please take a quick peek and say hello
Year two for me following a getting knocked off track last year when family stuff got in the way
Given my experience last year I have set myself a different set of ground rules. Fillers taken within 7days being OK. Still find myself looking everyday but less concerned to always find something. So far so good.
I started mine on Jan 6th. I hate to "cheat" but it's going to annoy me to hit Dec 31st and have those 5 missing days. I really should go fill that in just to make my year look a bit more complete.
This is my first 365 challenge and so far, I'm really enjoying it. I have already learned some new techniques and hope to learn a lot more! http://365project.org/leeannz/365
I tried 365 last year, but soon lost it - I feel much more motivated this year. It's early days but I'm going to go out on a limb and say this time I'll be sticking it out - haven't missed a day so far, and have learnt so very much - thanks guys!

This is my first year and I am loving 365project. It has got me out using my camera more than ever and already I have learnt so much.Even bravely using manual more frequently.

Woo-hoo! 21 days in and still going strong :) actually 20 days, because I haven't uploaded today's pic yet :P I'm really lovin this site, but I think I'm getting addicted
@daviddobedoe
I'm now in year 2 and doing it in exactly the same way! I didn't use a single filler last year but now I am allowing then and also trying to keep fillers to within 7 days but get a shot on the day if I can. It's great to have the pressure taken off to photograph something every day and I feel like I'm doing so much better already this year!
Thought I'd have missed a few but managed so far. So many brilliant ideas I can't wait to try them all out. Thanks to all who have views commented or inspired.
@unit8 no probs - glad your enjoying it - i'm having fun and learning new stuff as i go along - plus finding it useful using my ipad / iphone on my travels when i can't alwys take my 'real' camera :-)
My first year ..actually first time with a camera.. well if the iphone classifies as a camera..but enjoy looking at the talent & inspiration here so pushing forward..
@bristolrose jgo to the photo you want to copy or in this case the month of pic and then copy the URL that is under your camera info on the right side of your project in a little blue box, then paste it in the box on this link. I hope that helps! I have been here over a year and it took me a bit to get used to everything ,but everyone is usually always willing to help! enjoy and Welcome to365 Everyone!
@bristolrose it's called the copy and paste code and its under the share area ( not in a. Blue box) lol! Just keep looking to the right side of your project page and you should find it!
@tinac1 - you need to use the print screen (prt sc) button, paste it into 'paint' (or another such program) crop the section you want, save that as a jpg then upload it to a picture storage site such as photobucket - then use the link to add it here using the teag.
First time round and loving it! It's making me pick up my camera when I'm going out just because I HAVE to find something to capture!
Have a look and let me know how I'm getting on.. honest opinions and critique welcome :D http://365project.org/ejlockett/365/2013-01
The site is great; everyone is so helpful and friendly; the inspiration from seeing all the photos wonderful; the discipline of taking a photo everyday is doing my photography a world of good.
I finally caught up enough to share! I'm curious to know how some of you posted a picture of your calendar page.I love the snapshot before going g to your latest pic.

Hi, how do I get my calendar into the blog? Copy and paste didn't work for the photographs, just the numbers!
Sounds complex - but it's only a few clicks.

Only trouble its addictive - all my free time and more is sucked up. But this is a small price to pay. :-)
