So, I don't know who gifted me an Ace membership, but thank you so much. You literally made my day. I was at work and have been having a rough time with some anxiety problems, and I happened to check my email and I was very pleasantly surprised.
So thank you again, Kind Stranger. I'll try to pay it forward to someone at some point who needs a little extra motivation. =D
Seriously, someone other than Ross can gift someone an ACE membership? That’s pretty cool. I promised to do fifty random acts of kindness this year, and that would be so fun to do for someone.
@burghgirl Oh yes, it's good to know that there are people who do good deeds. It's really quite inspiring and makes me want to not only simply take pictures. But, take pictures better. It did wonders for my mindset today. :D
@5unflow3r Yep, I'm sure. I got the email from Ross.
"Hi Paign,
It's Ross here from 365project.org. You may have noticed that your 365 Project account has been upgraded to Ace membership. This is thanks to a kind member of the site who "gifted" it to you, and paid on your behalf.
The donator wished to remain anonymous, so I won't give it away.
Enjoy your membership :-)
Thanks,
Ross"
Not a glitch. xD
@lisjam1 And, I agree. I'm going to pay it forward at some point. =D
@lisjam1 Very true. I've grown to quite like the community on here, more than any other I've been apart of online. Everyone on here is really supportive of photogs of all levels, and it's really inspiring. :D
@lisjam1 I'd believe it, certainly. I mean this website is really friendly and helpful. I've actually started this project before and fell so far behind that I didn't pick back up. I think I've done it twice now. But, this time I'm actually more involved with the community and the whole website being drawn to the same goal is monumentally helpful. Maybe I'll come out of it with some friends, at some point. =D
@socalgal I'm glad it could make someone else smile, too. :D
I'm hoping your day tomorrow is filled with inspiration as opposed to stress. I know all too well how bad days go. C=
@synke I'm definitely going to push myself to try. And I'm getting a new lens in the next day or two, so with a new toy to play with I'll be snapping pictures left and right. :3
It's weird seeing the stats thing on my dash, but I like it so far. Also, picmonkey is fun. =D
Such a kind gesture! Really great news to hear and a reminder of how wonderful it makes someone feel when they are the recipient. Makes me want to do more random acts of kindness more often. :)
@heidit@mmartin I'm just glad I'm not the only one who likes to do kind deeds. I bought a man some food and water the other day. Poor guy was down on his luck on his travels with his two beautiful bull dogs. I just couldn't let him, or they, go hungry or thirsty.
Good deeds make you feel amazing. Something as simple as a smile, sometimes. I just can't wait to gift it forward and give someone a nice surprise. =D
If my best friend had stayed with this project I probably would have done the same for her. But, photography didn't stick with her like it did with me. :C
What a gorgeous thing to do - gave me warm fuzzies and a big smile :-D
Thanks anonymous stranger, and thanks Paign for sharing - makes me want to go out random-acting. Loved reading this and all the comments :-)
Totally off the subject but I was doing this 50 acts of kindness thing. It started out well, I had $5 left on a Starbucks giftcard so I handed it off to a guy in line behind me.
There is a house on my running route that had a pile of newspapers on the sidewalk. I figured they were on vacation and scooped them up and tossed them in their recycling bin. Then a few days later there was another stack of them. Seems odd, but ok so I tossed those in the bin too. Monday I passed by again and this time they were parked right in front of the sidewalk so obviously they're home and yet again a pile of newspapers.
How lovely. I had a anonymous 365er dontate to a charity event I participated in. Things like this give me hope in humanity. Let's hear more good news!
@stevieinwonderland@anron I'm still super psyched about it, I still haven't come down. Just makes me so happy that there are genuinely nice people out there somewhere. :D
@aponi That cracked me up. I'd be the same way, personally. Thanks for the laugh =D
Such a wonderful gift and what a way to make someone's year! Thanks for sharing the news. Gotta love the folks here on 365 - It's truly one of the best online communities I've ever seen. Have fun with the stats and PicMonkey! And don't forget about the extra albums ;)
@attraversi Totally, this is one of the most friendly and supportive communities I've ever been apart of.. These people are nicer than people I know in real life. It's kind of amazing. :D
And I was super excited about the extra albums, but after thinking I'm more confused as to what to use them for. xD
Haha I think I went a whole six months without touching the extra albums. Eventually I just used one of them to upload extra photos on days that I had more than one I wanted to post. A lot of folks use them for the weekly themes/challenges, etc!
Just how do you gift an ace membership? I've looked and I can't work out how to do it! @scrivna you might be missing out on some more support for this amazing site!

Thank you for MY smile and boost of inspiration as well.
What a wonderful thing to do :-)

It's always really nice to be reminded that people still do good deeds for each other. ^^
It's weird seeing the stats thing on my dash, but I like it so far. Also, picmonkey is fun. =D

Picmonkey is pretty fun looking insofar, and stats is really really useful. :D
If my best friend had stayed with this project I probably would have done the same for her. But, photography didn't stick with her like it did with me. :C
@mwac I totally agree with you there. ^^
Thanks anonymous stranger, and thanks Paign for sharing - makes me want to go out random-acting. Loved reading this and all the comments :-)
I had no idea it was even a thing. It just goes to prove that this is the best place on the internet. :D
And thanks guys. So far I'm very thoroughly enjoying it.

oh they're on their own now
@aponi That cracked me up. I'd be the same way, personally. Thanks for the laugh =D
I wish my hubby knew how to use 365 :)
And I was super excited about the extra albums, but after thinking I'm more confused as to what to use them for. xD
@monaalta Maybe someone will. ^^
@tatamanke You could show him. I was kind of tempted to get my boyfriend start using it. But, I'm not sure if he'd stick with it. :C
