Our little town is going to be live on Canada AM tomorrow morning (Friday the 25th). It's our 116th Annual Winter Carnival and there will be plenty going on including a Rail Jam, Bob Sledding and lots of other festivities. Looks like fun! Montreal is having its winter carnival now too, but its so cold out! It was -26 this morning when I came to work, with the wind, I think it is supposed to feel like -30ish.
@lfrans Oooh that is too cold! It's not so cold here, but hopefully it will be snowing as that would make the town look so pretty! The crazy thing is that because they're filming live and we are in BC, the actual time here will be from 3 - 6am! 17 shops will be opening and they are having loads of fun things to entise everyone to get up for it. I'm actually looking forward to it :)
@kiwichick Thats so funny. I did grad school in Vancouver, so love BC and miss it so much. (But my family is in Quebec, so im back here... although not sure if that is forever, my husband can't speak french). Thats actually quite annoying for town though. Great that its live, maybe it will promote more tourism from the rest of the country, but really 3am??
@kiwichick I saw you! You had some nice gentle snow falling, it looked nice. But I still think you should have held up a 365 sign as Jenn suggested. ;)
