Upload woes; sorry for the new discussion thread

@scrivna I tried uploading photos tonight, and rebooted my computer in the process thinking it might be me instead of the site, but I can't seem to get the photos uploaded. Is it just me? They seem to upload, but then when I go to "organize" them, nothing is there and the screen blanks out. Thanks for any help!!

There could be a problem with your server..... just wait a while (not a day, though) and try again!

Have you tried the basic uploader?

This has happened to me occasionally so I email them then instead. Some large files it doesn't seem to like. I am guessing that there is a lot of traffic on site at times.

@jase_h I should know the vernacular now that I'm 12 months in, but I don't. I went to "upload" and then I clicked on "browse" with the "choose your photos" option, I uploaded and then waited to confirm my dates and choose tags, but then it was lost. I'm otherwise free and clear and running like normal on the internet front. Hate being the problem child!!!

Click Upload like normal, scroll down to where you see "There is also a basic version of the uploader here" and click on the "here"

@rockinrobyn use the email option with address on upload page to see if it is working. Otherwise try uploading one at a time

Alternatively try emailing Ross. He is usually quick to respond

@rockinrobyn hey, sorry to hear you are having trouble. Have you tried logging out from the site and back in, also make sure you have cookies enabled. Erm, and failing that give the basic uploader a try... http://365project.org/upload/basic

I don't know if this is the same as what you're saying; but sometimes when I upload photos, it doesn't take me to the page where you organize them. It brings me back to my dashboard or sometimes it will go to the organize page but only show part of the photos I'm uploading. If I come back to the dashboard, my home screen, then at the top of the page is a note saying I have uploads to organize. I can then click the link provided, and all the photos will appear on the organize page. I hope this helps but not entirely sure this is the same problem that you're having.

@rockinrobyn -- I'm having the same issue... I can upload the photos but then cannot get to the next screen to finalize the photo... it just says that there are photos waiting to be organized... please help!

@Scrivna - the basic uploaded and the email option do the same thing... I've tried uploading from several different computers and browsers...

I've never had problems until this year and found I've had to use the basic uploader most days this month.

This is happenning to me on a regular basis. When all else fails I email the shot in.

This happenes to me because the files size was to big. Another to check if your still having issues.
