At least one of my project photos says that I took the photo on 16 April 2013. Since today is 27 January 2013, I'd like to correct it. I see no way to edit that particular bit of info. Any help out there?
That bit's taken from the exif information contained in your photo, the time and date on your camera are wrong. You can't change it on here but you can delete the photo then re-upload it but remove the exif first and it won't show a date taken.
Edit:
Looks like it's wrong on all of your shots so probably easier to reset your date and time and just live with it, it's not really a big deal :)
@anazad511 That'll depend a wee bit on what software you use but when you are saving or exporting your image to a jpeg there's usually an option, maybe under Advanced or something, to keep or preserve the exif info :)
As others have said you probably have the wrong date and time set on your camera. Correct that first but make a note of the amount by which it was wrong as it is likely that many of you photos will be out by this amount.. Most photo editing programs e.g Photoshop, Lightroom etc allow you to select a batch of photos and change the date taken by a number of days. It's best not to delete all the EXIF data as it may be of interest to your viewers.
If you're using Windows 7, then you can change the date by right clicking on the image in file manager, selecting properties and then selecting the details tab. Also, bear in mind that as well as being interesting to your followers, if you enter a photo into the weekly theme it must show the correct EXIF to be valid.
