Show me your favorite "do over" shot.

Show me the shot that didn't quite work and tell me why. The shot that, if you had the chance, you would do over and get everything right -- the focus, the lighting, the composition, the angle, etc. This is mine. I would love to go back in time and shoot this with the opportunity to adjust for the tricky lighting, and also be steady on my feet (or a tripod) to guarantee sharp focus. As it was, this was shot sitting down, wearing a heavy jacket (less mobility), from a moving pedicab in the dark with the camera set on automatic. I like it, but I could do better with a do over!

Here is the one that bothers me the most and should be done once again sometimes in the future. I'm not happy with the composition of this shot:

here's mine... by the time I saw the potential for a shot I didn't have time to get to where I needed to be, so its a rushed shot. I'd like to go back and place myself directly across from the building and make sure the lighting and all is correct and then wait for people to walk by again.

this one. I took it last night, and it is way off, but it had so much potential. Was shooting the Wolf Moon, trying to capture the reflection on the ocean and on a small pool of water in the center, as well as a snow patch that is shaped like the Cape. Advice from a follower was to bring a tripod (I don't have one but will get one as soon as I can). I have so much to learn about shutter speeds and the manual setting on this camera. I will work really hard to improve.

@hauss Lili, I like this, it definitely has potential! I think it needs the top of the building and perhaps a bit more contrast (in the processing). Also a bit of "correct camera distortion" processing to fix the curve of the building (from the lens) a bit, but yes, definitely worthy of "do over" status!

I approached the whole gig wrong, got too close to get the shots I wanted ... And Mark King posed for me, but again I was too close to the action. Shame, as the support act photos came out well, but then I didn't have the 3 song rule with them.

@lizzybean Lizzy, yes, a tripod would've been the "do over" tool here (as it would've been for my shot, too!). And perhaps a little different angle or cropping to embrace the 'rule of thirds.' The colors are wonderful, though.

Was too hungover to keep my hands still haha (self-inflicted bad photography)

I took this in Jerusalem in 1997. I was at the back of a tour group and saw this guy, I literally had 3 seconds to take a photo. I'd love to be able to re-do it. There are just some things I'd change. It's still one of my favorite photos though.

there are many, but the one that first came to mind was this one... really wanted to get a good nighttime downtown shot... this one just feels rather flat to me... i wanted something electric and exciting and this just doesn't do it... not sure what the right ingredients are... i tried all thru december to get something that came closer, but no luck... and lately i haven't had time after work to give it another go...
