@sewsharyn I'm sure there is a way that is more simple than this, but you can do a screen shot (if you use a mac, use Shift-Command-4 and you can crop - otherwise just screen capture and then crop). Then import it into your processing program (e.g., aperture or whatever). Crop out other junk from your screen that you don't want, and export as a .jpg.
But, I'm sure there must be an easier way and I'll look forward to reading others' suggestions!
@taffy@sewsharyn as far as I know, the way Taffy explained it is the easiest way... i wanted to make a collage of my monthly view from the original shots back in Feb and picassa wouldn't cooperate... i ended up doing what Taffy suggested...
@northy I use Photoscape for my minimal editing and it also has a 'collage' section. I used it for my Halfway picture. I find it very easy to use and it is free to download.
@thirtysevenways hmmm... good to know about other options out there... picassa has easy collages too (as long as you're not trying to be too fancy), but it didn't like doing one that was 7 accross and 5 down... do you know if photoscape can handle something like that?
I just did a capture on my iPod my hitting the home button and on/off switch at the same time for a screen shot and then a quick crop in "photos." Might not be great on a full computer screen, but it was easy to do...
@taffy Thanks Taffy - it seems as if this is the best way to go about it.
@northy Thanks Northy, I was hoping to keep the format the same as is shown here and don't much like the collage options on Picasso either. Will plod through and do it as Taffy suggested.
If you are running Windows there is a Snipping Tool that allows you to cut out what ever you can see on the screen and then save it to your hard drive.
Click on the start-up button, then go to All Programs, then Accessories - the snipping tool should be on that list (if you have W7 or above), and you can pin it this tool to your task bar across the bottom of the screen if you planon using it regularly. You might also be able to download the tool from the Microsoft site. @sewsharyn
Bulldog @bulldog did a great version of this a number of months ago. It was on the PP for a while. Perhaps he can shed some light on how he did his version.
There is a great screen shot program (Lightshot--free) out there that eliminates the cropping and editing in a program AFTER you take the screen shot via your built in print scr function. Basically, it allows you to determine the parameters (so you can crop what you want of the screen) before the final capture, and then you can save it to the hard drive or share, etc. instantly. Very easy--I use it for work all the time. Here is a link: http://lightshot.en.softonic.com/
You can also create your own unique tag such as for example "sharynmay" and than go back to all your May photos, edit each one of them, add that unique tag to all your May photos. If you want to send a link to somebody you can easy pull up all those photos in calendar view if you either click on that tag or enter your unique tag sharynmay in search window. Than just grab and copy http link. I filter my beach shots and pp shots like that.

Thanks for the info, I will have a play around with a few ideas and see what I can come up with.

The 'Snipping Tool' as mentioned by Ian and Lynne is fantastic. Quick and easy enough that a simpleton like myself can figure it out.
Thanks again @iii and @lynne3804 for your help :))
