Do you ever change the picture throughout the day?

February 3rd, 2010
Since I just started yesterday I haven't felt the need to do this yet, but I am curious. Do you ever take a picture and post it on here, then have second thoughts and post something completely different to replace the first picture?

Yup, usually because i post a picture early then get called up late at night to go do something cool and then want to use than instead.
No harm done, it's about your day, and if your day changes tht's cool, although nowadays i wait for a day or two so i get a better sense of what that day was about before i post a photo, its weird how your perception of a day will change afterwards, usualy depending on your mood.

I changed mine like a lot yesterday.... because I wasn't really feeling anything that I posted .... but it was also my first day... I figure why not, I want the picture to be about ME....

I just take pictures all day, download them all in the evening and choose one to post....so I've never changed one once it's up here (yet), but I do take a-g-e-s deciding which one to post!

Happens to me on occassion as well, usually for the same reason as Ross describes. You think early in the day you already have 'the' picture, and then something happens later on that helps you get an even more fitting picture. Yes, then I just change it to that.

absolutely! There have been a few times already that I've taken one early in the day and by nighttime i realize there is a much better one to describe that day in my life :) The beautiful part about this project is it's YOURS....do what you want! :)

I have down that a couple times. I try to not change my mind, but sometimes it's just bugging me and I don't like the one I've chosen so I have to change it.

Definately been tempted, but haven't done so yet!

I haven't done so yet. If I'm not totally satisfied with my photo I will wait until later in the day to post something. Who knows what the rest of the day will bring?

never

Wu
Has happened to me a few times, but I try to post photos closer to the end of the day

I try not to change the photo after I posted it...but then again I'm also /very/ lazy.

haha

My LJ on occasion will have 3 photos of the day if I can't choose :) (same with flickr)

No, but I do add the same photograph, and often a few others, on my blog where there's a commentary on the picture.

I don't do it because it feels like 'cheating'. ;-D But I do sometimes get one ready to post and then change my mind and put up a totally diffrent one!

I haven't changed a photo yet, but I take long time deciding, sometimes. The later I post my picture in the day the harder it was to decide which picture.
February 6th, 2010
I don't change mine either, mostly because I usually post at the end of the day...however I like that the photo sums up my day, good, bad, indifferent. If it's a rubbish photo that's indicative of the day I've had, lol!
February 7th, 2010
nope... but if i have more than one photo i want to use i collage them and use the lot! i haven't done this much, only a few times though.

I did, I took so many pictures everyday and sometimes i change my mind a few days later. And I agree with Jenn Lawlor: it's your project, you can do whatever you want. we are all in this for improving our skills, expressing our feelings, or sometimes simply for fun. there should be no stress and too much rules involved, it's not a competition! My only "rule" for this project is: have fun!

I've just changed a pic for the first time today - wasn't happy with my choice.
Good to have freedom isn't it ;)

i have once i think. but mostly i just carry my camera around with me all day and take pictures throughout. then at the end of the day i sit down and choose which one most accurately described my day and post that one.
