I find that I'm missing people's photos due to either being on the computer at random times or not realizing that you have another album. And I know there's probably been another thread of this nature, but cough it up, 365! Give me your least viewed photo that you, personally, loved or are proud of!
I have a few of them but this one I put so much thought into and loved the outcome! It was view a good amount but I was so in love with it I was kinda disappointed. Selfish I know. =)
@ididntdoit87 Not selfish at all!! There are going to be photos that are meaningful to the photographer but that the viewer cannot even comprehend. That's why I started the thread. I remember this photo--and I thought you did a very thoughtful job with it.
This, I don't think people bothered to read the description... I think its hilarious, and people probably saw the little version and though WTF?!!!?? is going on...
This photo I don't understand why no comments. I may be martial because it is my cousin and I think he is adorable, but I think it is a pretty fun portrait.
And with this, I'm just being selfish lol. The two shots I did before this that were similiar (One included bananas and the other included an orange) got tons and tons of comments and I thought this would do the same. I guess it isn't cute enough
@cadair8 The first one looks like it took a lot of work, the second--he totally looks like he could kick my butt, and I think the third is quite funny. And I assume the computer monitor was no longer working? heehee I feel like doing that sometimes!
- am going with this one, clarissa..... maybe it is the color tone - pretty much monotone, but it is what I love about this birdie.... after the expression, of course!!! (ADDED NOTE: one of the few times I even dared and got a good shot of a bird, too)
great idea for a thread. This one is in my second album. I uploaded it with a number of pictures but it only got 8 views? I thought it was pretty good.
@rudit (: Okay, this isn't about me, it's about YOU! I have a couple. I have a lot of Followers and figure I get more than my fair share of views, so it's okay. My regret is that I've had to narrow down my comments on other people's photos. I view/comment only when somebody comments on mine (save for a few people I seek out for selfish reasons). Then, I try and play catch up if I missed some of theirs. That may sound rude, and I don't mean it to be, but there's just not enough hours in the day.
This is one of my favorites because I do love trees and their leaves. I like how the little leaves are in the background and I love the sunlight in this picture.
@lily The Autumn Princess shot is beautiful and magical! And mushrooms always remind me of Alice in Wonderland--I love the dewdrops on the pine needles. Beautiful job on both of them!
quite an interesting thread! it has always fascinated me which photos appeal to different people and how they are similar or different from my taste. i recognize some of the photos here, too!
@taleweaver I really like the golden tones in your leaf photo--gorgeous. And I do love the composition and streaks of lights in the street lights. Nice job on both!
I find that it's quieter around here at the weekend, probably because people are out and about enjoying themselves. Thing is, I probably do my best work at the weekends because I have the time!
Last weekend I did a night shoot that I really like that didn't get much notice:
This and the above are equally my least viewed and are two of my favourites: the first because I think that Giuditta is beautiful with her concentration and covered in clay and all. The second because I loved the pride of the Burkinabe horsemen and the spirit of their steads, and I love all the movement and colour of this picture. Whoops - just realised Giuditta isn't my least viewed, but not far off!
i have lots of "least-viewed" photos that i like (and i may be the only one that does! haha) but i selected this one because i love the fog and the lines - we see a lot of fog rolling in and its often very other-worldly. so i chose this one. . .
I like this one a lot. It is not about greatness, but I love the reflection, the fish and all the dust in the water. I find really hard to photograph macro, and I should had done a better job on this one.
this one has had several views, but no comments...it was near the beginning of my project and was a filler, but i personally love it...i love history and the civil war!
Great thread, Clarissa!! I love seeing all of these hidden beauties!! Here's mine. I know it looks like a burnt leaf, but I LOVE all the bokeh and the different colors. I was surprised that it got a lot less views than my other photos. Hmmm.
@miranda Both of your shots are amazing--I do love her focus on her work, and that horseman--wow. The colours on the horse and his face are very intense.
@iridecentburden I really like the contrast between the burnt leaf and vibrant bokeh in the background. I can see why you would like that one--it's beautiful!
What a cool thread! I would have to say that I really liked this one, but I think when shrunk to the thumbnail it looked rather uninteresting, therefore not many views...It is my view from the detention facility that I work at...makes me thankful to be free!
Great idea for a thread. I do have another album with a few photos that I tend to put theme photos in or if I just want to test out a new way of editing. Here's mine!!
@clarissajohal Yes, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. It's about an hour from Leeds so it's fairly close. Definitely day trip territory. I have some friends living near here.
Probably this one. I usually take pictures of my kids, so it was fun to get a sharp photo for once! It's definitely not very impressive as a thumbnail though!
Awesome thread! I love all the shots here ... and the stories that go with them! Here are a few of mine...
this one for what it represents more than for the photo itself...
I was surprised these didn't have more comments because I just loved the lighting...
Lately, I've been incredibly busy, so its been hard for me to comment on a lot of peoples' photos - maybe thats why, but the last week or two, I have loved my fall photos, but they haven't gotten many views.
I hope I didn't abuse the post by sharing several... :(
It took awhile for me to find one of these that sat still long enough for me to get a shot. Unfortunately, he doesn't stand out in the thumbnail image.
I had just finished re-reading a study on Edward Weston, one of the members of the F/64 group and a master of lighting and B&W film. This pic was everything I could do using Weston's techniques and guidelines. I did everything short of "channeling" the master himself! I think I accomplished my goal, but it didn't get near the views that "I" though it should. Pardon me, my ego is showing!
I was fascinated by this picture and thought others would be too. I guess I expected more comments to go with what views it did get. I'm trying to learn not to have so many expectations in my life...
@clarissajohal, thanks Clarissa, it almost was. I need a picture for a greeting card I was making. And it was a celebrate of a weddingday, 12Ā½ year :-)
I was quite proud of this photo because it's pretty hard to get a goanna, let alone with its tongue flicking out. However, only two or three comments...
This is a recent shot of mine that I was excited about because it was the first shot I took with my new 300mm lens. It's not the greatest moon shot I've seen by any stretch of the imagination but I liked it because it was my first! :)
@kasumie13 Second albums get pushed to the back-burner, I think. I'll either post a link if I feel it goes with one I posted in my Default, or just surrender myself to the fact the photo will be for my enjoyment only (:
I like the grainy texture to your leaf in this photo.
@girlie Go figure! You captured his tongue perfectly too! Okay, that sounded kind of weird, but you know what I meant! Vikdaddy was noting that photos posted on the weekend don't get viewed as much--maybe that was the case. Nice job!
@swarren85 Wow!! This is fabulous! You can even see the craters. I tried to photo the moon the other night and ended up with a bunch of funky halos and lights--didn't turn out like I expected. Your lens rocks! Great photo!
@justkariherself Well, this is gorgeous. It looks like a cone or like plastic. I haven't tried water photography, but I know it's quite difficult and takes time (hence, me not trying water photography, lol) Fabulous job. @revjoel It's okay--you're allowed to have an ego (: Sometimes, we're the only ones that pat ourselves on the back and I think that's okay. Kudos to you for trying out new techniques--I think the shades and curvature in this photo are beautiful. Really nice job. @crazyrandomcool Don't you hate that? I like your perspective on this statue--plus, it's really interesting-looking! Kind of looks like a bird/human combo...thingy--but I know it's probably a person behind a bird? @lovelyrita_mm (: I love that you had 16 versions of this!! That's what I end up doing sometimes--my recycle bin probably needs to be emptied, haha. I like the singularity of this leaf--this version turned out awesome. The lighting is really nice too @tolpol This is a beautiful piece of art--I can see why you would photograph it. Is that a reflection or another light? @kjoslyn I love your thoughts on this--what a beautiful photo and adorable baby!
Clarissa, great thread. It's been great to see everyone's pick of their pix.
i have three i thought i'd post. i hope that's not too many.
... oops! i meant "four". lol
this one spotlights child abuse and is a difficult topic ...
@appaloosa05 I love that there are two completely different architecture styles side-by-side. It's a great contrast photo! And those tigers! I have a soft spot for those guys. They're both gorgeous
@pinktornado39 Never too many!! No rules, that's what I say--haha. The first one is haunting--I must admit, I saw it and didn't comment just because it's a difficult topic. I want to say now that you did a really good job with it. My cousins were abused in foster home after foster home--so it hits close to home with me.
Your sunflowers are gorgeous--really crisp and clear. And these silhouettes! Fabulous job on this last photo.
Fairie Moon- Great idea for a thread. I didn't have very many followers at the beginning of my project. It is so hard to choose an overall project favorite but here's one I'd love to see looked at again.
@bia_rmm I like the stream of birds just skimming the water! Were you in a boat or on land? @dosmanoisabel I really like the tone of colours in this--very atmospheric (does that make sense?) It gives you a sense of a great walk/talk. @amyhughes The first is a great sport photo--with an added extra of the pretty sunlight! And the little boy is adorable--his smile really lights up the photo (:
@kimmistephens As many as you want! I love the bird capture on this tree--and the squirrel looks like he's in a WWII bunker, for some reason! I have no idea what made me think of that--but he does.
I have two. They're not my favourites but they are my top two out of the least popular ones.
Not sure why I like this one, there's just something about the colour and the sun hitting it.
And this one I love just because of the relaxed look on his face.
@amz87 Very nice! The car looks shiny and quite streamlined--great shot of that. Your dog is adorable--that look would make me spoil Dozer for sure! Great name, by the way.
@clarissajohal Thanks! That face does get him out of trouble quite a bit haha. And the name was the fiancee's pick, it fits him perfectly, he's a four-legged bulldozer.
@clarissajohal I was told about your discussion on this and it was suggested I post a photo. Probably a dumb question, how do I post my photo? Thanks :0)
@debmayne Not a dumb question at all!! There's a button to the right of your photo that says More Sizes. Click on it and select Main size--copy and paste the whole code in your post and your photo will show up (:
@laneyandaudrey This is a beautiful photo--the colour of the flower and your pretty eye are perfect! @velasco I have no idea how you got the angle of this photo--unless you were also in a plane? Fabulous job. @hazelrayne This just reminds me of kiddo days (: I love how you got them both in the shot too--I know your older one was probably off like a shot a second later! @notsoaverage These are adorable! You do really well on portrait shots--and I'm sure it helps to have a cutie as a subject (: The ballet photo is beautiful--always near and dear to my heart because I took 20 years of dance and used to perform. @darth88 I love that first photo--a very well-composed portrait. I have no idea how you did the card shot--it turned out awesome. The birds are really creative and I totally love the angel selfie(?) You are very talented. @sarahr Perfect capture! The colours of the fish and wonderful dad/child moment are definitely frame-worthy! And I'll bet that second took a lot of work!! Sometimes people don't realize how much work a shot takes because it looks so effortless.
@debmayne These are both stunning!! I love the crop on the first--and the colours, everything is neat-o. The baby, of course, is adorable. Big, cutie baby eyes (: and I like that you did BW with it.
@taleweaver I LOVE the colours, shapes and the reflections in this photo. Okay--that would be everything, I guess! @barrymikhal This is beautiful--the crop/framing is very unique and the colours are quite delicate as well. Nice job on the SOOC. I would love for SOOC to be a Theme one week.
A fairly new photo for me - my favorite because I put a lot of work into setting it up and creating, likely my least viewed because of the very macabre nature of the photo.
I'm still not too sure about this one. I kinda like it but I kinda hate it at the same time. It was my first attempt at panning so it's not too terrible considering...its a first...I keep trying to talk myself into liking it, then turn around and talk myself back out. I don't know, I guess I will just leave it at that and let you all decide.
@rossco088 Yeah--you think?? I'm glad the photo was meant to convey the sense of emptiness, though. I've lost a friend in this fashion and I would hate to see it glamorized. That said--the photo is done very well and I like the starkness of the white space (: @kcphotography I like this photo--it shows movement--and looks like you captured him with all 4 feet off the ground!
@gavincci This was one of the first photos I remember seeing by you, Jaydee. I was really quite touched by the concept. I'm an avid fish keeper--I think I felt bad for the catfish though. @kmackenzie This is a very nice capture of a moment--and I do like the lighting and composition. @hilafriman I think this is wonderful! And you have beautiful brown eyes!
I love this photo. Claire had such fun with this book, she is screaming with delight. I just laugh and laugh every time i see her expression. Only a few people took a look...
This is my first post . . . and it's not particularly artistic, I didn't do ANY finishing, but I love the way it captures the excitement our son feels our first day at the beach each summer!
@clarissajohal I did notice the same thing about weekend photos. It's too bad because people can really miss some great shots. I myself feel I'm at my best on weekends... I'm glad you liked the photo and I'm glad you started this discussion. It's been fun to go and view everyone's photos :)
@christifitz I love all three of these photos--especially the last one, which I remember commenting on! The second one is gorgeous--really nice processing. I don't know why I missed it except maybe I wasn't following you yet? The first looks like a prelude to a romantic evening!
I cant believe this one fits into this category. I love this pic and am shocked that few else do. I know it's still early but...I'm extremely satisfied yet so disappointed.
@barrymikhal I have no idea why you didn't get more comments on this!! I was excited by it--the perspective, plus the fact you caught something I didn't get a chance to! I think it's fabulous!
@clarissajohal You are so brilliant for setting this thread up. By the way, are you quite recovered from your illness? Hope so. Thanks for this great idea. So enjoying what people have uploaded.
I'm actually surprised with how many view my images have received - some greater than 30! - I LURVE this place in outback NSW, Australia. It was freezing cold waiting for the sunrise, it didn't fail to work it's majic. This image is SOOC as I had/have little editing knowledge. Hope you enjoy it too.
@misschuff Wow!! This is stunning! The colours are gorgeous. @bugik I like your focus on this as well--it's beautiful @miranda Thanks! And yes, cold/cough's all gone (: I'm good for another two years or so, lol
I have a few of them but this one I put so much thought into and loved the outcome! It was view a good amount but I was so in love with it I was kinda disappointed. Selfish I know. =)

I know, a rose is a rose is a rose, but these roses have the light all up in them!
BTW, I love this thread..... actually gives us all another insight into a photographer's mind and preferences....
These two of mine I really liked but they didn't get very many comments:
@moonpig beautiful roses, love the light!
here is mine, a recent favorite:
and an older one:
Last weekend I did a night shoot that I really like that didn't get much notice:
and this one from my "playing" album
I like this thread Clarissa! Great idea! :D
This is one of my favourites but one of my least viewed. :)
this one's special to me anyway because it was my beloved first car's last day in our family. but i also think the picture itself turned out nice
this one for what it represents more than for the photo itself...
I was surprised these didn't have more comments because I just loved the lighting...

This one has almost 40 views, but only one comment. However, I really liked it. :/

Your sunflowers are gorgeous--really crisp and clear. And these silhouettes! Fabulous job on this last photo.
Thank you for this thread, and your comments. :)
I guess it didn't get viewed as much because I uploaded a lot of photos on the same day as this one so purhaps it got missed.
@amyhughes The first is a great sport photo--with an added extra of the pretty sunlight! And the little boy is adorable--his smile really lights up the photo (:
I have two. I hope that is OK.
Not sure why I like this one, there's just something about the colour and the sun hitting it.
And this one I love just because of the relaxed look on his face.
This one took me forever to get just the right shot
Incy Wincy
Ben
also, me being me, i looked at each and every one of my photos and this one actually got one of, if not the lowest, views! and i absolutely love it!
granted i have a huge emotional attachment to it, but i still think it's a neat photo regardless :)
I to would love that as a theme. I started this project wanting to do nothing but SOOC. I should get back to that...lol!
If I ever win a theme we will have a week of it!
I love the following two - the first one because it reminds me of the peacefulnees I found there:
and this one because blue is my favorite color and it calms me a lot:
@kcphotography I like this photo--it shows movement--and looks like you captured him with all 4 feet off the ground!
this is one of mine with less views:P i kinda liek it:)
It may not be the best exposure, but I really liked the capture and subject.
i like this but zero FAV .....
@hilafriman I think this is wonderful! And you have beautiful brown eyes!
I love this photo. Claire had such fun with this book, she is screaming with delight. I just laugh and laugh every time i see her expression. Only a few people took a look...
just some of my lonely favorites : )
:)~
This is a favorite of mine and it had only two comments.
I LOVE this photo. Its just awesome. And I got really lucky capturing it.
