Workshops

January 8th, 2011
So, like many of you I'm staring 2011' in the face and thinking "I'm in need of some serious growth and inspiration!" I live in west Texas and am looking for a workshop that will knock my socks off!

Less than a year ago something that started as a hobby for me has exploded into a career, which has left me feeling unqualified to raise my prices and demand more for my work. I feel like there's still so much for me to learn, from basic camera settings, to posing, and composition, but that I have the potential to be a great photographer.

If anyone has suggestions on workshops for lifestyle photography located somewhere in the midwest part of the U.S. I'd love to know!

Thanks 365 family :)

@laburgett I am too far away from you to suggest anything relative. I am taking an intermediate course this afternoon on Elements 9. May or may not improve my processing skills... :) I have taken many courses through this same company. Very hands on and excellent equipment. I also take courses offered through my Photography Club. Experienced members offer courses from time to time on creativity, photography, studio photography....all sorts of topics for reasonable prices. Check out some of your local photography clubs....they might do the same.

Why don't you do Texas School this year? Koshi and I are, when we can time it right, going to head over to the USA for it. Maybe next year (we had to postpone from this year).
