Hello! I'm new and really enjoying being here. I am quite stuck on the matter of viewing favourites though. I can choose favourites but can't see them in my project area. I can't see anybody elses favourites either. Can anyone help?
@eosin
If you click on the "you" tab on the top of the page, you will get a drop down menu. The second item should be your favs. Click on that and the photos that you have selected as your favorite should come up.
As far as viewing someone else's favorites you need to the person's profile who you are trying to view their favorites. Once you do that you will see a top menu which has their name, how many pictures they have uploaded, how many followers they have, how many people they are following, and finally how many pictures they have selected as their favorite. You would then click on the last item.
@mej2011 Thank you so much for your reply.
If I click on My favourites then I get redirected to a screen which gives my stats then says Favourites underneath but no photos show up. The same thing happens if I click on someone elses fav's.
When I go to your profile and click on your Favs I see 2 photos. Is that right? You have 2 Favs? Make sure you are logged in . . . Scroll to "You" at the top of the page . . . From the drop down click on the second option "Your Favs" . . . that should take you there . . .
@eosin Hmmm... When I go to your page I am seeing the same thing Lynn sees. I am sorry that I do not have any other suggestions except perhaps maybe contact the person who runs this website. Sorry I am not of more help.
I have just tried on the other half's lap top and I can see them there so I know I'm clicking the right buttons but they won't show up on my net book. At least I now know that it's not something I'm doing wrong.
@eosin Peculiar! Is it only on your netbook that it doesn't work? What browser are you using, and is it different to the other browsers where it does work?
Have you tried clearing cache, history, cookies, etc on the netbook?
@pocketmouse I am using Mozilla Firefox which is the same browser as on my other half's laptop.
I have just cleared all private data and I still can't see them.
@mej2011 So does that mean there is no easy way to see who has favorited my pictures? I'm always curious when I see that and I want to be able to express my appreciation.
I do not believe you can see you has favorited your photo as there is no link to direct you, you are only aware of how many people have favorited a particular photo.
I only started this project on the first of January, so I could be incorrect in this. Perhaps you should post this as a new discussion question and somebody with more experience to this site could offer a different opinion. Sorry.
