I love taking pictures of nature and of course of my children but I also really enjoy taking pictures of things we see every day at off angles. So what is your favorite thing to photograph?
My orchids, cats and kids. But I really want to learn how to do some self-portraits. Always being behind the camera, I have few pics of myself, and I want to remember what I look like while still relatively young!

Definitely nature! I am a big fan of taking pictures of state parks, flowers, animals, and also anything outdoors - cities, towns, buildings, festivals, etc. I hope with this project to learn to take more indoor photos other than birthday and holiday celebratiohns.
I am finding trends as I look at my own project! I love to do food, landscapes, THINGS, things, things. I'm challenging myself lately to do better "off the cusp" pictures of soulful beings. :)
I see things in zoom I think. So I'd say I like to take close ups, though it's not really considered my "favorite" thing. Because of my studio background I'm most comfortable with people though.
My daughter. She loves to pretend to "model" and we have a huge collection of silly photographs with her all dressed up. It lets her get creative and lets me fiddle with light, angles and such. I also like to snap pictures of her throughout the day, her personality really translates into pictures well. Plus,s he inspires me! I do photograph my son like crazy, but there is something about Ravent hat just calls to the camera.
My children!! I'm trying so hard to take pictures of other things for my 365, but it's my kids I photograph the most and my kids I WANT to photograph. I like doing child photography in general, as well. It's just so much fun, and children are so genuine it's just always a pleasure to capture them.
I'm going to sound creepy and say that I love taking pictures of strangers. When someone is driving and we stop or slow down, I try to get a snapshot of any pedestrians nearby. I think it's just fascinating to look at these pictures and wonder what kind of story they have. People, in general, are interesting subjects. Today my picture is of a woman waiting for the bus, but two days ago I caught a photo of a man wearing the Statue of Liberty costume.
my 2 year old nephew, my dog when he lets me, and pretty much everything I see but my nephew is my favorite subject.....I'd say all my nephews but he's the only cooperative one....lol
Buildings and architectural details, but it is so cold, you are only getting snaps from the car right now. When I worked at the bookstore, I started taking pics of all current employees and then all newbies. Got some really cheesy "look at me" pics. I haven't worked at the bookstore for 2.5 years, but the pics I took over the years are still on display on the back room wall. I used to take pics of "my" dogs (a friend of mine's dogs that I hung out w/ all the time), but now I don't see him often and the dogs I helped raise have passed away and the new ones aren't so cooperative. If I had a dog of my own, they would probably be my favorite subject.
