Does anyone have the problem of logging in the correct date the photo was taken...but it's not shown as such, on your page? I've tried going back into "Edit" and re-selecting the dates, but no go. One of my pics says "Jan 2008" - I don't want to get booted out for submitting what looks like old stuff...THANKS for any reply!
@posadafan , You will never get booted out for submitting "old" photos, unless they are NOT yours .
The only time a date will really matter is if you enter the weekly comp. if the date not set right then you will not be in the running to be judged.
and as Cynthia has said check your camera date,
but also in your profile check what time zone your profile is set too.
Hope this helps a bit.
What they said... but first its date in "View Exif Info" on the site and in your computer software. To make sure that it's correct in the file itself.
.... Has that "Taken on " always been listed right under Details? I thought I remembered clicking on other people's Exif data a few times, but why would I have done that if it was already there.
I've been having silly issues because I saved over photos or used ones as templates when resizing in PS, since the size works for everywhere I upload my photos are all sized to fit my personal website.
I prefer PS resizing for this since Pixresizer doesn't save EXIF data.
The date under "view exit info" is only sometimes correct. I have checked both camrea's that I use. Not just the date's but times are sometime's off. Not every picture, but some. I make sure its correct on the page when I upload it.
