I enjoyed breakfast overlooking this view today - the coast is such an important part of life in Australia. This was taken from the restaurant Fish Sails - in Warrnambool.
This is a baby Major Mitchell cockatoo, which I am hand rearing. These cockatoos were named after the explorer and are the most beautiful cockatoo with its white and pink feathers, and orange, yellow and pink crest.
Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi...as a Canadian with many Australian friends, I really have enjoyed these pictures. I have been to New Zealand, so came oh, so close, but will make it all the way to Australia soon. Had friends from Australia spend Christmas with me last year....a Canadian Christmas is just a little different! :)
