My dullest pic is of apples, which I snapped for a back- up, but then you should have seen how crappy the rejects were. Photographing people dancing Bangra when being taught how to do it don't mix! I didn't really do anything to draw out any special quality with these apples except lining up a couple of stalks:
Martin I actually really liked this one! Very retro looking
This is a tough one for me because I actually enjoyed all mine this past week... so I am going to go with this one.. ONLY because I think I could have done it better than I have
The sunset Wednesday was GORGEOUS. I picked up my daughter and raced to one of the most unobstructed views in town of the sunset. I got very few good ones, and this one hit me as probably the most WTF worst. ugh.
I get very few comments on any of my photos but today's I really am unhappy with. I wanted to photograph this so badly but it didn't seem to matter which angle I took it from, it just didn't come out very exciting. It really was pretty - the sun was shining and it was reflecting beautiful colors that I could see but the camera couldn't catch.
By far it would be this one... If I had just waited until there was better lighting, it could have had a much better chance at being a good shot. BUT! I had no patience and took the photo at night in my kitchen that has horrible lights. I hate how yellow the whole photo is.
@proudrhrshipper Thanks, it's actually that one I really have something against, the cat one's probably just referred hate...
At first I thought that was a mobius strip, reminds me of a project I haven't finished, ever read the Crow Road? Think it was Crow road, certain Iain Banks.
Desperation shot....driving to work...noticed how there is steam everywhere when the temperature reaches a certain low point....so took the shot! Pretty boring....not much point to it.....
For me it's that one. Ok, i had some coments and blahblabla, but it's sooooo boring. I couldnt do anything and i really wasnt in the mood of photographing :D
@girlincamo lol...I truly did laugh out loud at your last comment. Still chuckling now. It's a lot harder than I thought it would be to come up with a photo each day and have it be good or inspired, let alone both.
@proudrhrshipper Ah cool, well in that book the guy had a scarf his friend gave him that was a mobius scarf, even though I don't wear scarves I'm sure it would be a nice present for a friend...
It must be this one, I was really busy this weekend and just needed a picture. And I had to go to the library and 1+1= welll... this picture. Edited this a bit for more interest, but I think it didn't work.
@jcrowley40 This one has a lot going for it - perfect dog portrait. She's looking like she has a cat up a tree and has been running her nose in the snow, so quite joyful and then everything is terribly clear and the colours and texture is good too. So, you other pics must be bloody brilliant :-)
This one got a surprising amount of interest... I really wasn't that happy with it, and it's my least favorite of the week (I just know I could have done better!)
The quality is AWFUL. I was in such a hurry, but needed a "C" picture....my dog Copper, looked adorable, but my camera batteries were dead, so I used my phone. Very disappointed to post this one....
this one. I need help with action! I hate that the ref is right there & my son is facing the other way. I also don't like the background. I'll try again next weekend!
I love the angle but hate the color. This is a beautiful building & I just don't think I did it justice. Could have definately benefitted from a tripod which was lost at the time.
@semrants Thanks. I think that t-shirt means more to me (there are a lot of them throughout the library and I think they are fun) than to the person passing by this picture. Sometimes we do get a bit carried and try to tell to much in one picture...
This could have been done so much better & would have benefited from a tint bit of planning perhaps....shoes prolly need a different backdrop than my pillows...lol
This one had lots of positive comments. I think I would have been happier with it had I not had the strange shadow on my chin. It messed with my profile enough to bug me. I am happy that I did the shot though.
Gosh, so many to choose from. I was at work when I took this and only had my cell phone with me. The focus is horrible, the men's backs are to me, etc., etc.
I came home from work and immediately started work rebuilding this wheel for a clubmate. When I realised I'd run out of day I just leaned the wheel against the wall and pointed the phone/camera at it.
I have to say I am almost most proud of the pics I have taken in the last week haha but this is my least favorite. I like the cardinal but the rest of the shot is not very interesting
I hate the giant white box sign glare on the left side of the picture, but I did like that I could capture the basketball game I was watching as a reflection in the window.
This is a tough one for me because I actually enjoyed all mine this past week... so I am going to go with this one.. ONLY because I think I could have done it better than I have
i dont't like this because is it cliche, only one comment, no fav :((
Don`t let that bring you down.Heck, you made it to the Popular Page allready, that took me 3 months haha.
i actually liked myphotos this week! haha for once, but i didnt get many views so..
I never get a lot of views, but this one was the worst. Only 5.
I had to use a couple of fillers this week due to not feeling well and so busy. This one I did take and I was not happy with the results at all
I really like your picture. The colors are great.
Major fail. This may have been cool had all the recycling been out of the photo. I took it all out the next day.
For a 'blue' theme. I was trying to take the exact same photo without the lights directly in the picture, but it just wasn't working out!
Or this
Here's mine. I was really inspired that day - just not photographically!
At first I thought that was a mobius strip, reminds me of a project I haven't finished, ever read the Crow Road? Think it was Crow road, certain Iain Banks.
this was not planned, just a spur of the moment , get it done kinda thing.
I was ill all day and had no photo ops whatsoever so this was the best i could do - my survival kit
It wasn't at all what I had planned. It's not fun or interesting at all. I even desaturated it- to completely suck the life out of it...
Last week was a boring photo week in general but I guess this is the least inspired.
You're kidding? This is a GREAT photo! (This is the my photo sucks thread, right?)
Seriously, I think that photo is beautiful, as is the dog.
and this one
Both are decent snapshots I guess but I am just uninspired lately, and it shows!
We were in a hurry to get out of the store, and I didn't capture the whole bottle.
I think the picture is cute, but not my greatest. Plus it has me in it and I tend to not like pictures that I am in.
my recent photo would be it. hahahha NO STORY AT ALL! i don't know.. LOL
Would have been interesting to get the whole turn table, and more of the train garage.
smoke shots just didnt go to plan :(
*waving* Hi Martin!
I was running out of time and still needed a shot!
Yesterday = no inspiration and no time!
:(
I don't even know why I posted this.
Wow,you REALLY think that`s a bad photograph? Because I disagree!
The quality is AWFUL. I was in such a hurry, but needed a "C" picture....my dog Copper, looked adorable, but my camera batteries were dead, so I used my phone. Very disappointed to post this one....
I love the angle but hate the color. This is a beautiful building & I just don't think I did it justice. Could have definately benefitted from a tripod which was lost at the time.
I just think it's really boring and pointless... The editing didn't work out as I wanted either... :P
Mine is waaaay bad, but it was purely to mark the occasion, rather than to be artistic. Thanks for making it happen Ross!!!
This one is not my best.... it is very simple mid-air picture that I did for the theme. I did another one that did not like but it turned out well.
this one for sure!!
Total mess that came out remotely as I had intended or hoped.
Could have done better (in term of editing the pix)!
The trees after the flood was gone, nothing but ugly...
(but I think my photo for Jan 23rd sucks also! lol)
Idk I just HATE this. Ick... Love the quote, but other than that...FLOP
I hate the giant white box sign glare on the left side of the picture, but I did like that I could capture the basketball game I was watching as a reflection in the window.
haha. this one for sure.
