It's probably because I am totally biased, buy my kiddo :) He is challenging to photograph and pose so it's like a photographic workout to take shots of him.
Aside from that, I LOVE old buildings and architecture. I could walk around a big city all day and still want to take more shots.
Oh boy, I have so many! If I had to narrow it down I would say either wildlife or landscapes. Though sadly I don't have much opportunity to shoot either at the moment, but I digress.
I think I'm attracted to water. Ocean, lakes, waterfalls. I grew up near the ocean. Oh, and sunsets. I would take a picture of the sunset everyday, but one of my goals is to only take a sunset picture once in a while, and it has to be really good. Can't be lazy!
Flowers. Every time I go out on a hike, I always notice the flowers that are blooming and I usually take a picture of them. I've been avoiding them mainly because I don't want my entire project to be nothing but flowers. Oh, yeah, there's another one from the Flower Guy.
My son for sure. I love it how his little face lights up but I have to be quick because being a 21 month old there are always places to be and toys to be played with. Haha.
people, I just love to take pictures of people. Portraits of my friends while I'm in the pub having a good time, pictures of my family, pictures of random strangers on the street, pictures of friends who 'model' for me.
I`m still learning a little bit of everything,so I can`t say there`s just one thing/style I like. But I guess I find decay kind of fascinating-abandoned places,broken old..things,etc.
My 365 project so far is a real eclectic mix of photos, as I'm trying to get skilled in all forms of photography. All I can say is that so far I can narrow it down to landscapes, architecture and portraits, and I really like them when they're B&W. Night time shots are great fun too when they turn out well.
So, no one favourite then! Here's a few that I took that is quintessentially what I enjoy shooting:
@emilybak3r People, usually at gigs... I love shooting anything with a lot of energy, below are a few favourites, the mint one I loved because it was so hard to catch, the mint's trail is backwards from the flash.
I love nature and try to get as many outside shots as I can. If that is not an option then I like to practice my water shots, or set up shots of items that I can tell a story around or give information about. I love knowledge and sharing of knowledge, and I try to do that through the lense of my camera. Sometimes I just like to have fun and maniputlation of photos to create humour is always fun :)
I think my 365 will probably end up being something like "Birds, Horses, Landscapes and Abstracts"! I love to photograph birds and interesting trees. Also, I love finding intersting compositions in unusual places.
@emilybak3r I find that I shoot tons of landscape shots, because of where I live there is so much open space, farmland and one of Canada's Great Lakes is right here.. I love nature, and want to get better at not only taking the pictures but editing as well.. Photoshop just confuses the heck out of me.. so my goal is to learn it!!
most of my pics are of the kids but i am trying to take pics of other things for my 365,time and insopiration is lacking round here though at the moment
My fav would be scenery but I don't get to take many scenic photos. Living in the city and not having a car doesn't help. At the mo I'm just taking pics and hope I can make them more interesting than they are. Not sure if it's workng thogh, lol.
There's not a great deal of them that I've used on here but I take a ridiculous amount of photos of my kids. I think by the time they're grown up I could make a massive flip book and it would be like a video of their lives lol
Myself? Haha, I'm such a narcissist. But really, I'd much rather be behind the camera and have a model doing my crazy ideas. It's much easier. I need to get my friends in on this, I guess.
Also my dog. I try not to post too many here, but I take snaps of him a lot.
