This photo was a rare situation where I had space to use my Nikon dSLR instead of just my iPhone camera, and the details in the image show just how much more detail I can capture with it (not to mention how fun it is to use)

This was my dad's camera. He was a geotechnical civil engineer for the railroad. Many of his photos were shot with black and white film so it seems appropriate to post it this way.
