I love all the water shots on here & I respect the hard work that goes into the set up droplets, refractions & splashes & have done some of my own, but I am equally impressed by the "found" ones like this:
I saw water drops hanging from bare tree branches as I was driving along & just had to stop.
I would love to see some of your "found" not set up water droplet shots!
@meredithwb Mine actually was taken with my telephoto lens. I was shooting a tree branch over my head that was hanging at least a foot taller than I am.
@mikichelle - - - wow so sharp, love the reflection, my hand is not steady enough for that, even with a tripod...think it's time to go remote shopping ;-)
It did nothing but rain most of the summer here... not happy :-/.... but it did give me opportunity to get some practice with drop shots :)
Piece of grass in our backyard...
one of the spiderweb shots I did recently...So much fun doing these, was so surprised when the sun shining on the water drops turned them into bokeh! No jokes, I took 151 photos of the same web!! :D
Oooh, I love water shots - both staged and 'found'. Some beautiful shots in this thread. Here's one I took last week trying out reverse macro shooting:
@robv love the flare on the bottom drop.

Here's one I took off the peach tree back in January:
And here's also one I found back last April - divine love note. ;)
And one more on a spider web on the ground:
