My new Iphone is being delivered tomorrow (or technically today as its 2am) i was looking at the best apps to get for photography so that when i dont have my camera with me i can use my phone and still get some decent shots.
Hipstamatic came up a few times but some reviews say the changeable lenses arent all that good, so i was just looking for advice from anyone that uses this app or can recommend a different app with maybe if you could post an example of what you have taken with that app.
I'm using hipstamatic all the time right now. Loving it, here's a couple of recent shots
Had it set to random, you shake the phone and it picks the film and lens at random. Gives you some surprisingly good results (most of the time!)
I use Hipstamatic most of the time, but also have Tiny Planets, Camera+, Genius, Photostudio, CamWow, PerfectPhoto, Instagram, and Halftone. I'm always looking for new apps!!!

This is tiny planet: (take a good landscape shot with iphone camera, this app turns it into a tiny planet of awesomeness)
if you search for the tag Hipstamatic, there are people on 365 who have all Hipstamatic for their project....one of my favs is @365kwords and also @rich57 has an "Other" album with most if not all Hipsta prints. Have fun! It's worth the $6-10 to get all the available gear!

I actually am not a fan of hipstamatic but I am a huge fan of photoshop express for cropping and straightening the photo and some quick adjustments.
I really adore Iris for more detailed adjustments and special effects. Percolator is just fun and paint it now has some merit.
I use Tilt Shift Generator and PictureShow exclusively. I have never, ever, ever had luck with Hipstamatic - though so many people do take fantastic shots with it! My husband likes Photoshop Express, too. My entire project is being done with my iPhone - so feel free to look through for examples! Love my iPhone camera!

I also regularly use PictureShow (which has added a decent tilt shift options as well as cropping), Iris,and PS Express. Other fun apps I use are Percolator, Half Tone and ColorBlast!. There are a ton of fun photo apps out there but these are the ones I go to again and again. =)
By the way, here are some of my favorite Hipstamatic shots from the last couple of months. The last one, Dali's Dark Disney, is my most popular shot to date of anything I have ever posted. =)
a word of warning, be careful with hipstamatic, unless they changed the TOS, if i recall there was some concern that images taken with it the company automatically could use. this might have gotten fixed, i switched from iphone, so i have not kept up.
I usually use Hipstamatic by shuffling through the lens/film combos by shaking the camera between shots and see what I come up with. Here are some of my favorites:
thanks for this thread I have the iphone 4, but rarely use the camera function, although I have notice that @petervanallen has been doing a lot of iphone pics of late, so shall download a few recommended apps and see how I do
I want an iPhone just for this app. I love it, It's brilliant so so brilliant, hard to believe some of these were taken on a phone @bradsworld I especially like your guitar one. Fab fab fab!
@cchambers The hoopla regarding that was to do with when you submit your photos to their contests or upload pictures to their Hipstamart site for printing. They claim it was normal wording but it was sure wide open when I read it. They have done some revising to it and fully support the fact that the image is still the property of the photographer. I am just careful about if I want to enter a contest and use another printer to order prints.
