is there an after life?

funny that i should be thinking this when im only on day 21....but was wondering if there is life after 365?

who out there cant wait for it be over so you can finally stop lugging that heavy camera of yours around, and probably wont pick it up again for another 6 months.

OR

who here believes that 365 will probably turn into "the rest of my life whilst i am physically able to hold that camera and press the shutter project"?

im hoping i fall into the 2nd category. :)

i am quite certain we will be doing this up until and past the point of which we develop arthritis in our "shoot" fingers!

I've been wondering also. Is there anyone here already in their second year? I imagine there would be new worlds to conquer but I'd hate to feel like I was repeating 2nd grade. What are the rest of you thinking?

The original intention as I know it; is it is supposed to be like a photo diary of your everyday life. Things you want to remember through the process of photogtaphy. If you feel it is going to be a burden to do this, you won't enjoy it very much. But it is a way to meet, in a way, new people from all over the world.
You don't need heavy equipment to do this, digital point and shoot even good phone cameras are getting great results. So, it is entirely up to you.

Elo i can definatley see myself being the eccentric old lady in the nursing home crawling around on my belly for worms eye view perspectives and alike!

Alison, i too was wondering if anyone has gone into the 2nd year. you would definatley have to add another dimension to it, like challenge yourslef in other ways, such as Kiwi's hug a day challenge.

ive never been anygood at keeping a diary- so this is very good for me to keep this record- and a picture say a thousand words right? and in this i find that the pressure of taking perfect photos each day isnt there. its my life, and my day that i have to represent in the days photo, even if that means having some not so perfect pics sprinkled in amoungst my 365 is ok because not all days are going to be good. my camera is now an extension of my person, i hope one day someone invents a camera that is permantly fixed into my eye!!

I'm definitely in category 2! :)

Always took a lot of pictures...now I take a lot of pictures regularly. I can see this as something I won't want to stop just because I come to the end of the year. My hope is to continue on...and on...and on...

Ross has over 1200+ pictures and he runs this show...Ross??

I love natalie's vision of the eccentric old lady.....some of us aren't that far away..............Some days its hard to find a picture good enough or time to even download it but I can't imagine days without thinking about what I'm going to post next. I think it's called addiction!! :-) The idea of having a camera in your eye is one that's need developing....they did it in 'Torchwood'....:-) !

I've used my Nikon on about 110 days in the year since I took delivery. A managed to use my camera every day for 17 days while on Holiday in December.

This project will get me into the habit of using a camera everyday by training me to recognise photographic opportunities. I hope that this will then become a way of life and I too will become a better photographer.

Breaking out of a comfort zone is never easy, but the rewards are always worth the effort!

Not for me - I think I'm hooked!

I'm loving the whole experience. Some days I run out of ideas and just take what I think is a ho-hum picture and I think I have some nerve posting this photo. But then, when I play with the editing and end up with something that I like, I'm back to having fun.

I have always *meant* to take more photos in life, but when I heard about 365, I decided to jump at the opportunity. I have only just begun, but I love the challenge of having to put up a picture everyday. I didn't anticipate the social aspect, of following and getting to know others through their pictures, but I love it.

I'm hoping to fall into the latter catergory as well. I already feel that this project has moved out of the realm of a project and more into a habit....I have to get my photography fix everyday..... :-) I hope it stays that way.

I don't know yet how far I'll take it. My purpose for starting was to improve my photography, which means I'm putting a lot of effort into many of my photos, spending too much time on each one. But that being said, I think I've gotten better since day one, plus I've learned a lot from the people here.

I think if I were doing a "snapshot of my life" type of project, I wouldn't overthink each photo like I do now. So, after my "get every artsy photo as perfect as you can" phase is over in December, I may do a "snapshot of my life" project. After I take a few weeks off, that is :-)

I have always had a camera in tow most days anyway, so it's a walk in the park for me.
