B&W Photographers In The House?

Hey fellow 365-ers!

Im really amazed by the power of B&W photography. I find the genre very classical and chic at the same time. No doubt, I think Im going to have a week dedicated to it. Hehe.

Anyway, Im just posting this thread to ask if there are B&W PHOTOGRAPHERS in the house?

Im planning to study this field more. And hopefully, follow anyone who's very nice in this field. Oh, is there anyone here doing a 365 in B&W? That would be cool! :)

@coolgirlsar nice set you go there! and nice project, too! when i become a dad someday, ill make my children really camera-philic. haha! kids are very amazing subjects!

hahaha! perhaps soon bigmac, perhaps soon! haha! Have you heard of Vivian Maier? She was a wonderful photographer but her story is one of a kind! Really inspired me to take photos in B&W. :)

I adore b&w but haven't quite figured out how to do it justice. My lighting's never quite right or the shadows aren't pronounced enough. I have a lot to learn and might challenge myself to try more in the future since I admire everyone else's work. There are so many great shots being posted here that I almost feel embarrassed to include this one, but I think it's the best out of the few b&w photos I've tried.
