Long telephoto zoom suggestions for Canon?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to sell my 70-200L to get something with longer zoom range. Anyone have any suggestions? I've currently got my eye on the Sigma 120-400. Looks tasty.

I dont know much about it, but I´ve learnt that Sigma is very good!

Hmmm.. what's the aperture number on that lens you're selling? If it's the f2.8, I'd be very interested in buying it!

May I suggest you also look at the Sigma 150 - 500? It's an excellent lens & came top in a "superzoom" test in a magazine last year, not to mention being very favourable reviewed by "real" users on the WWW. You can even shoot it hand held if that's your style.Take a look at the Canon version reviews on Amazon, for example. I used one on a Nikon D700 last year to shoot at a bird sanctuary & an athletics meeting. Very nice piece of kit.
