Is it just me and my computer or has anyone else been having trouble with the 365 website lately?
I've been finding it is really slow to load and that often when I try and comment on someone's photo, once I click 'comment,' the page just sits there and thinks about it for EVER and often doesn't even add my comment. I have to refresh the page (often several times) just to get 1 comment added.
I thought others may be having problems too because I've also noticed that on the 'latest' pictures page that people have been uploading the same photo multiple times - I'm wondering if they've had to refresh the page multiple times because it looks like the site isn't adding their photo and this results in their shot posting a number of times?
I am having a huge problem with it at the moment and I feel really bad that I haven't been able to catch up with my friends' stuff because after the first page , it seems to take forever to load the next.
It's being very slow. One trick to speed things up is to do Jinx's tip of opening pictures on your feed by ctrl clicking - which opens them in a new window. Then you can comment on them in different tabs and leave them to load the comment while you move on to the next tab, going back down closing tabs and checking the comment has gone through
Today when I go to upload, I click browse and choose the photo, then click upload and watch the bar fill as it uploads, but... BUT... when I click on confirm dates and tags it just jumps me back to the home page. Where are the pics I uploaded? Why can't I find them or confirm the dates or tags? Any suggestions?

It was an effort for me to even get this discussion topic posted re the problem I raised!
I already do the idea suggested by @Shanne to open up each picture I want to comment on in a separate window but it still has the "will it or won't it?" problem with posting my comments. It's a bit of a lottery at the moment, lol.
Hopefully this issue will get sorted cos it's a shame that people aren't getting the comments and views they have earned.
It's been timing out on me the past few days. I even went to the FB page to see what was up but it hasn't been updated in forever so I figured I'd just keep trying and hope for the best.
When people get frustrated by the time it takes for a page to load, they tend to give up and thus the number of comments goes down. Or they write their comment under the thumbnail on their homepage and it doesn't count as a view. I hope Ross figures out the cause of the sluggishness so we can get back to being a real community.
Yes- verrrrrrry slooooooow- to the point where it took me 2 hours to do what I usually do in 30 minutes. I got so frustrated I started commenting on the thumbnails and even then it took forever for the comments to register. I think it's just the amount of people on the site- but I sure hope it gets fixed soon.
@shanne I do the same thing when it gets too slow, open a whole whack of new tabs and while it's 'thinking' about the comment I just wrote, I move on to the next tab, then close them all and start again with a fresh batch.
I have been reading that many people have been experiencing a very slow load lately but mine has been just as super fast as always. Maybe certain times of day or certain areas are having high traffic?
do u think banana flambe' for the m0nkees will speed the process?or how 'bout babana shake top with grilled cocunut and almond shells and sherry -flavored dark godiva choco, and slight touch of cinnamom powder..
I find it slow at certain times, which I just assume is due to high traffic. I am convinced that I make comments on photos and then go back and it seems that I did not. I am thinking somehow the comments may be getting lost in transition, but I know little of the magic web we are on.

Did anyone tell you how to sort this? I have the same problem - can't get any dates/tags on then the uploading process doesn't complete.

I am getting a bit desperate!!! I just can't get any photos to upload, it gets to the dates then fails.
