I know many on here are not from the USA, but to those who serve and protect our country, I just want to say 'thank you'!!! Today is a very difficult day for so many all over the world, as we remember what happened on 9-11-01. I live not too far from NYC, I saw the smoke from the towers as they collapsed and believe me, it was life shattering!! So many people lost their lives that day to a horrific tragedy. Thanks to the service men and women who protect us, to the firemen, policemen, and medical folks who so willingly risked (and for many, gave) their lives for others.
If you have photos or tributes to share, please post them here.
Be blessed, and don't forget to tell those close to your heart, that you love them today!!! =)

I took this one back in August for the S challenge, but I thought I would repost it here (instead of the shot I took today for 9-11) to say thank you to our servicemen and women, and those who serve as police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and all others who help keep us safe and secure. Thank you all and thanks to your families too!!
And to those whose loved ones were taken from them on 9-11, my thoughts and prayers are with you today.
@interludephotos - I'm a NYer and was there when it happened. I am amazed by the outpouring of support by 365ers all over the world. The bond by good decent loving people everywhere is much stronger than the evil that's out there.
Yeah, we must have posted at the exact same time. Oh well....I'll just leave it here in case anyone still wants to post.
PEACE and LOVE
