@pocketmouse thats my boy ,, always making people smile ..lol..the image actually went viral & appeared (without my knowledge) on websites around the globe also was printed in a nat newspaper without my permission ... http://365project.org/steveh/365/2010-05-11 dont think i will ever take a snap like his one again
@ukdanae no i never got anywhere with it .. one letter from THE SUN saying someone would contact me, then nothing..!..
I should have taken it further i know, but in the end the hassle was just not worth it i dont think. I have the paper with my shot in it & family & friends know its my picture ,I put it down to experiance now and warn others what can happen ... after all The Sun is part of news international & we have all seen how they operate over the past weeks ,have we not ..lol..
This has 553 views and has the most number of comments because it was controversial.I did not realize that nude photography was such a big issue. People on each side of the fence (for and against it) aired their views in rapid succession.
This is my most viewed, at 506 views. I think mainly because it was linked onto facebook multiple times because it was a shot from the ridiculous "hockey riots" and a lot of Canadians shared my views in the write-up that accompanied it.
Wow, I'm impressed with the number of views some images have received. I looked at mine, and have only garnered 367 for this one. Boy, I have a ways to go! Love seeing everyone's most viewed images! Great idea.
I've given up on looking at the number of views. Sure, it is fun and encouraging to have lots of views, but I had to train myself to not judge my ability by the number of views or favs I get or the number of times I've made the PP. Up until recently I have been really discouraged by the "attention" my photos have received - to the point of almost quitting altogether. But the support and encouragement of my friends and family as well as my faithful 365 friends (for whom I am eternally grateful) has helped me get through it. Now I take photos for ME and for the simple pleasure I get when I see a photo I've done well. It has been a huge struggle for me and will likely haunt me again. I'm sure I'll always have to fight my low self-esteem, but I'm getting there.
