The guy is "history" All good things come to an end. He was a visionary whose technological creations affected millions of lives. So for this day, lets us all share our apple photo, and lets call this "APPLE A DAY .....
this is my U2 edition classic iPOD , its still working and im loving it! ♥
Yes, the 'glow'.....in the middle of the night when you can't sleep, Steve Jobs is our light in the dark....RIP Steve, as a professional photography you changed the way I do my job immeasureably for the better.
Great thread. I've actually only used Apple computers as long as I've been alive. My dad was a huge tech nerd, and he bought pretty much everything Apple ever produced. The 1984 Mac was the first computer I had in my bedroom as a kid. I was truly heartbroken when I heard the news. I cried.... quite a bit.
A "visionary" indeed. I think this picture of my desk shows how Appled up I am...! (I have even persuaded my Dad and my Grandmother to make the switch, and now they both have an iPhone4 and a MacBook!)
I think, whether or not you liked Jobs' products, or his company, no one can deny the huge impact he has had on the world. He was a true entrepreneur, with a determination to succeed, and the world needs people like that.
Plus, I've used the logo on my own MacBook as my 365 on a couple of occasions, when I've been out of ideas!!
Very sad to hear the news last night, as a lifelong (literally) techie geek who grew up alongside the PC era, this is almost a personal loss to me. I never owned an Apple computer but worked on them plenty in my photo studies. My ipod, which has been a subject in my 365 more than once, is one of my prized possessions that I enjoy almost daily.
Truly a great visionary and prophet of the modern age. If only more people had that kind of courage to stay outside the box . . .
Never has hanging out in the garage with your buddy been so far reaching and touched so many, so profoundly. Whether literally with Apple technology or as a global cultural icon that makes for perfect internationally understood humor, Steve Jobs' contribution to mankind is undeniably huge.
May your spirit's journey home be swift.
our latest family member...
and the result of the latest edition... the "glow!"
