I let my Ace Membership expire (unintentional, I've just been busy) and unfortunately lost my First Year album and my Stray Album. If I renew, are they retrieved or are they lost forever?
I'm on my second year with an ace membership, but didn't realize the albums would be closed if we let membership lapse. What happens to people who don't sign up for ace memberships? Are their sites ever shut down?
@Weezilou, I don't have an Ace membership and my project ended in March. After taking a picture a day for a year, I thought it would be so easy to continue the groove and "clip" out my favorite 52 pictures and journaling to make a book. Ah how those months have flown. I have been panicky for months now wondering if my account would go away. Making sure to come out here a few times a week to see those I am still following and make comments. Thought if I were still somewhat active out here that my project would not disappear. No idea if that is true, thought.
@Weezilou There is no "penalty" for not going ace however Ross started culling accounts that have been inactive for a significant period of time. You can find his response about 20 comments down in the link.
@wwhite13@shadesofgray Thanks! I read the thread about the culling, but I didn't realize entire accounts (ace or not) were scuttled. Glad to know Clarissa was able to retrieve hers.
@Weezilou I'm assuming you typed in my @ name...no biggie, but I didn't get a notice in my inbox because it is spelled wrong. If you just hit the reply blue letters in the upper right corner of any comment of the person you reply to, you won't have to try to type all of it every time...just a helpful tidbit.

Okay, thanks! I was thinking, easy come, easy go. (: Good to know.
Sorry FaerieMoon, to hijack your thread!
