Get it?

I haven't quite thought all of my hints through yet, but surely someone else thinks like I do:

Humm.. vinegar/block. Are you going to use vinegar for a blocked drain?
October 29th, 2011
...cube ...cube ...cube? I give up! Hehe!

Cleaning a butchers block with distilled vinegar... lol!

Pickled block recipe?

David Hasselhoff?

@moonpig @ronphotography @aromatic @espyetta @eyebrows
Thanks for playing, but not quite what I intended yet.

Hint 2: potential Hydrogen and shape
October 30th, 2011
Acid blocker?
October 30th, 2011
@eyebrows I think you've got it!
October 30th, 2011
@kjarn ;)

"potential hydrogen and shape" just makes me think "millennium hand and shrimp"
October 30th, 2011
And to OP: is this supposed to be some "lateral thinking" thing?
October 30th, 2011
@hoosierhokie So close! Just apply Hint 1 or maybe "inverse" would have been better.
October 30th, 2011
Well, if this has anything to do with photography, I'm going to guess Adam Block, an astrophotographer. Doctor What? guessed a name, so I went that route. Adam is close to Atom (hydrogen?) and my son is currently taking astronomy classes in college, so my mind was going in that direction.

@hoosierhokie Acid blocker was on the right track.

Nothing relating to photography, but is related to St. Louis in the last few days.

No more guesses. I was thinking opposites. Vinegar is an acid, so the opposite would be "base". The wooden block's opposite would be a ball, so... Baseball!

So this is the opposite of baseball.

Oh my goodness! I would have never got that!!! Lol!

@mallocarray between chemistry and sports, forget it!!
November 1st, 2011
Oh my I would never have gotten that... but sure had fun trying lol!!
November 1st, 2011
@mallocarray Nope! I would not have gotten it! Very clever! And entertaining! Thanks for tagging us back with the answer!

hehe should have given 'opposites' as clue but then again i would miss it =)
November 1st, 2011
A cube isn't the "opposite" of a ball, they're just different shapes. I'll grant you base and acid as opposites, but still... it's just a bit vague...

Doing more of these?
November 1st, 2011
Very clever Joshua, it sure got us all thinking.
November 2nd, 2011
@ronphotography I had Opposites as a clue on the picture itself, just not on this thread.

@eyebrows I don't follow baseball, but since I'm in St. Louis and the Cardinals won the world series, it was all the rage, so I was thinking about the opposite of baseball and came up with this. No other ideas planned, but it was fun to come up with. Maybe more.
