Going on 8 days now. I miss posting on here so much! But, I am happy I can still see all of your pictures. Sorry I am not commenting a lot. I promise to catch up with everything as soon as we get power!! I have lots of not so great pictures to post... But at least I will be keeping up with my goal of taking a picture a day. :)
@cohare we finally got our power back yesterday (7days without)..........my sister is still without hers too! it's been crazy....she can't even get anyone to answer the phone at the power company...and when she did yesterday, they got disconnected....there's been a wire down on their block all week....
We are in the same situation...no power since last Saturday. Some how, my parents didn't lose power at all, so we have been at their house for over a week now. So frustrating that this is taking so long. Hopefully, we will get it back tomorrow.
I lost power for 7 days back in February so I know how you feel. But a little generator and some battery chargers and my laptop meant I missed none of the 365 action! I know in my situation there was no point phoning the power company - you could visually see them every minute of the day working on some part of the city trying to restore the power, those guys were waging the battle in some pretty ordinary conditions!
