@paulremulla I post day I took the shot, day after, or days ahead depending on how busy I am...I am even tempted to plug in fillers for days I missed too :)
My reason behind of posting my photo a day after the date is simply because I might get a better one within the day, LOL. It's like I am taking a lot of photos during the day and then at the end of it I will just choose what I think is the best that would describe my day.
Also, those photos that I wasn't able to use are sometimes I can use as fillers, LOL.
I post on the same day. That is, if I am home before midnight. If not, I post after midnight but before I go to sleep so to me that still counts as the same day. I haven't missed a day yet :)
90% of the time my are posted the day they are taken on. But then there is the 10% where I come home late, spent the night in the er with the kids, ect ect that I dont get to upload. But I have to be really exhausted or it be really late for me not to post the day of. I take a picture every day and use no fillers.
During my first year I tried to take a photo on the day and post on the day but now I'm in my second year and all rules have gone out the window. I have a photo posted for each day but lots are fillers now.
i rarely post on the date of, although I'm sure that would have helped in acquiring and keeping followers. I have only missed one day (by 9 minutes!) and accidentally deleted a day's shot, but other than that, I have made it a point not to miss a day. I usually make one or two mass posts per week.
It depends. Sometimes I let a few days buildup before posting, especially if I took them with one of my cameras. If it's an iPhone pic I usually email it to the site the day I took it.
@paulremulla Unfortunately I got so far behind with my uploading that I'm now uploading a few months behind since I don't want to upload 4 months of photos all in one day :/
I feel bad enough uploading 4 spread out through the day ...
When I was caught up I usually uploaded the day after to get my morning started. But since we're a day ahead of the US it sorta ended up on the day for anyone following me in the states.
@stepheesue You are my role model! I want to be a renagade too! Unfortunately, so far I haven't been. For my first year I have pretty much stuck to the photo a day rule and I post at night on the same day I took the photo. I think I've only done about five or six fillers. But I think I would be able to post better photos if I didn't stick to those rules. On the plus side, it forces me to go out and find something every day, so I go back and forth on this subject as I consider doing this for a second year.
Mostly on the same day, unless I've been away, then they get backlogged. I don't post ahead because every shot in my album was shot on the date it's presented, although I do post ahead in my extras album, because it's not officially part of this year's project. It's just extra. ;-)
This is my first time with 365 and so far I've taken at least two or three pics each day (I now carry my camera everywhere) but sometimes I don't have time to post it the same day. I have a personal goal of at least capturing one picture a day, and then getting it uploaded asap.
I initially posted my daily picture on the day I took the picture. This quickly drove me insane due to my schedule. I switched to taking pictures on a daily basis, but uploading them the next day. If I am really unhappy with the shots I took the previous day, I run out and take some new ones and post one of those.
@paulremulla As a general rule of thumb I do try to post a picture from the day, usually by early evening. But sometimes it's the day after and when acts of nature or traveling has kept me from being able to post, it's filler time!
I try to post them the day they are taken, but sometimes there is just no time. Today I posted for the last two days, but they really were photos taken on those days. I am still working on the one for today :)
Except when traveling, I think I have posted most of mine on the same day I took them but I can only post in late evening just before I go to bed. Then once I posted one that I had taken on a different day because I had nothing for that day.
