I got my custom built couch back out of storage. We'd moved most of our furniture a few years ago in a move that never fully "took" because of my husband's employment. We've been living in a barely furnished house where we could not even sit in the great room with our 23 year old son and his girlfriend and watch a movie/TV.
Have to agree, yours is the bestest present anyone could ask for and receive, that jolly fat man sure knows what we NEED.. rather than want we want.. have a great day..

I got a DVD set of Gene Kelly films.... am soooo happy with it, I will own the tv next week lol

My husband and I didn't buy each other presents this year because we have just completed our house extension! My parents gave us the awesome mirrored cabinet in the bathroom.
So glad your husband made it home. Family really is the best Christmas gift. We were delighted to welcome our second granddaughter just a few days before Christmas.
Wow...... There are some great from the heart gifts on here. I feel blessed to have the gift of family during the holidays. But beyond that, my favorite was the smallest gift. A ring from my lovely fiancé. It is not always the biggest or most expensive things that count. But the thought that strikes the heart.
