Mad Minute Word for the Week of 9/15/2013

The mad minute word is a fun challenge whereby we present you with a crazy, obsolete, obscure or down-right fun word and you take a shot that illustrates it. There's no voting on this one, just the sheer fun of participation! The word is presented by a host each week and you have the entire week to post a shot depicting the word. The host then picks someone from those entries to host the next week's word, and so on. Former words are listed below.

Dig out those doodads and oddities that you bought because it was "the next best thing to sliced bread" or let your imagination drum up a scenario that might cause one. Post your pictures between Sunday, September 15th and Saturday, September 21, 2013 when the next host will be chosen.

Ah, I love this one. The definition I found states, "A novelty that loses its appeal after a few days." Oh, there are so many of these around my house. What to choose!

I really, really, meant to do a photo for this. I'm bummed that I missed a Mad Minute Word but I'm still just catching up with my get-pushed challenges from this last week AND the week before. Sigh. I can't WAIT to get back into our house and get internet access at home again. (Though I suppose I can't blame my lack of "nine day's wonder" photography on that. Just whining.)
