A couple things... first, please bear in mind that some folks don't post much on the weekends, post in clumps (ie: 3 or 4 days of shots in one go) or are at a point in their project when they only post a few times a week... soooo - if your partner doesn't get back to you right away, or appears to be a few days behind, please give it a day or so before asking for a new partner...
second - a word about repeat partners... i am not a techie and have no way to come up with a program that will prevent repeat pairings from occurring... sometimes it's easy enough to switch out, but not always... so if you end up with someone you've been partnered with before, consider it an opportunity to kick it up a notch now that you kinda know each other, or, y'know for revenge (did they make you do a high key selfie? spend hours trying to figure out how to get a water drop shot? shoot in colour?? ;p)... just sayin'
and, as always, if i left you off by mistake (or left you in by mistake!), misspelt your name or otherwise mucked things up, please let me know...
-- Saturday / Sunday, October 12th and 613th - find your partner and issue a challenge
-- Monday October 14th thru Sunday October 20th - take a picture (or pictures) in response to the challenge issued to you, and post it with the tag: Get-Pushed-65, and comment on the photos taken in response to your challenge
-- Monday, October 21st - the winner of week 64 will pick 5 finalists for a vote
IF YOU NEED TO BOW OUT AFTER THE PAIRINGS HAVE BEEN POSTED please let me know in this thread AND please tag your partner... that way they know not to peruse your album, and if someone else pops up looking for a partner before i have a chance to check in, they will be able to sort things out themselves :)

How to play:
TO ISSUE A CHALLENGE
1. Find your partner from the list below and click on their name to get to their profile
2. Browse through the last couple of months of photos to get a feel for what they shoot and don't shoot etc.
3. Post an introduction on their last photo, and also issue the challenge you are setting.
RESPOND TO A CHALLENGE
4. You have until midnight next Sunday, to take and post your shot or shots.
5. When posting your shot write a short description about who challenged you, what the challenge was, what you found hard about it etc. You really should do this because if nothing else, it helps the previous week's winner when they have to choose this week's finalists... besides, if someone is cruising the photos with a "get pushed" tag, they like to see what the challenge was when looking at your photo :)
6. Make sure to tag your shot for the challenge.... Get-Pushed-65
7. Tag your challenger in a COMMENT (not just your write-up). You MUST tag your partner in a separate comment... tagging them in your write-up of your photo is not sufficient as it will not result in them getting a notification...
ALSO
8. it is nice to visit the photo that was made in response to your challenge and offer some comments and maybe even some constructive criticism...
9. On the Monday after the challenge is over, the winner of the previous week will pick 5 finalists for a vote, this can be based purely on their fav photos, who they felt best met the challenge etc, etc.
I have a question. I'm new, so just smack me if I've gotten something wrong. Each of us gives a challenge to the other right? So far, these past two weeks, I've done the challenge issued to me, but my partners have not (to be fair, though, my current partner may just be waiting until the end of the week to post, and I understand not everyone posts each day--but my former partner did not try the challenge I issued). Is it just a requirement to post a challenge, not necessarily to try what was issued. I'm probably overthinking it. I'll be off to the mountains tomorrow, but I'll issue my challenge with my new partner before I head out. Thanks if you can help me understand if I'm missing something.
well yes - in the spirit of the game, you are supposed to come up with one or more shots in response to the challenge issued to you - i mean, presumably folks sign up for the fun of having to deal with something new and perhaps unexpected...
but i don't police it and for the most part, the only one you are failing if you don't post a shot in response to your challenge is yourself... altho' of course it's much more fun if you and your partner are really in it together for the week...
btw, are you sure they haven't posted a shot and just forgotten to tag you?
@northy Ok, got it. I thought maybe I was missing something. I did look to see if something was posted, but nothing for the challenge--just shots for normal posting as far as I can see. Oh well! No biggie.
@darylo this sort of thing happens quite often Daryl, don't worry about it, just do your own and get the benefits :) it can be annoying too if the partner doesn't comment on the work you tried so hard to do, but this happens less often. If someone doesn't post by Friday I try to contact them again to see if they had problems with the challenge I issued, often though people just get caught up in their lives and it just doesn't come together in time
Sorry for the late heads-up but I'm going out of town and won't return until next Monday. My Internet connection will be slim to none. So, I won't be able to participate this week but I'll continue from next week.
Besides, Wendy and I just paired up couple weeks ago. I'm sure she'd like a new partner and I hope someone will come along for her. Sorry again, @photohoot@northy

@northy I haven't heard from my partner, and I also have been extremely remiss and not engaged her as well. I think I need to back out for now, as I feel I can't devote the time and energy to this challenge that I feel it deserves. Can you give @lindseying 2 new partner? Or, I can issue a challenge for the last few days, but then not re-up next week? Sorry to have dropped the ball.
@swamppoodle hi Patti... we're a bit betwixt and between as i've just suggested that @blahowd check in to see if @photohoot wants to pair up, but haven't heard back from either if they are interested... if one is but the other not, then @lindseying could pair up with them... or you could check in with Lindsey to see if she wants a push given that you haven't heard from her and her post from yesterday indicates things are getting rather busy for her
