The abstract challenge uses the same item as the one chosen by the winner of the mundane challenge, and will run the same length of time:
The starting date is Friday, July 4th (now), and the competition will run through the end of Tuesday, July 15. Voting will start shortly after the finalists are selected and will last for a couple of days, and the winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
You are free to use any photographic technique you would like to use to capture this mundane object.
Images may not be double tagged. Your mundane image must differ from your abstract image.
