What you need to do is scroll back to Debs original mundane challenge post.Use that as your template.Choose a mundane item ( that has not been chosen before) and change the challenge dates to suit you. Post the challenge to the Themes and Competitions thread. When its time for you to choose the 5 finalists .We will help you through that post....

First set up the challenge. So in your case, decide what you want the mundane item to be (check the list of previous items first) and then set up the post. The person who wins the abstract item challenge will then use your item. It is generally accepted as well that you cannot enter the challenge nor vote.
Use the ... under each finalists image to copy into the post for the thread, along with their name and tag. Most people also create a comment under the post with all the winners names to alert them to being finalists.
@olivetreeann Thank you, Ann. Once people learned that my husband had a few old cameras, he became the repository for all their cast-offs. He's been collecting them for about 30 years. The love of photography was a touchstone for my father and him as they both collected cameras and loved to take pictures and do darkroom work. Since my father died, we now have his collection here at the hosue--mostly 35 mm.

You can copy the one I used here http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/23078/new-mundane-challenge-camera and paste it into a new Themes and Competitions thread.
Change the names, dates, tag, mundane item, add previous mundane item to the list etc
Give people about a week to 10 days for the challenge.
Then select 5 finalists and create a new post. Again, you can copy from mine http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/23203/voting-mundane-camera-challenge.
Use the ... under each finalists image to copy into the post for the thread, along with their name and tag. Most people also create a comment under the post with all the winners names to alert them to being finalists.
Give about 2 days for voting, then count up the votes (manually) and create your final new post with the winner. Use mine if you wish, changing what you need to
