New Mundane Challenge - Rubber

September 6th, 2014
Dan
Many thanks to Spanner @spanner for hosting the last challenge, and to all of you who voted for my photo of rolled up newpapers! What a nice surprise to be honoured like that by this group!! Thanks...

So I have to say this list is getting long and a little tough to pick something interesting and new. Now I work in the tire industry, and am surrounded by rubber in various states from near liquid, to cured, to ground up. Rubber is everywhere around us, on door stops, tires, shoes, and even in our bedrooms (!)... So this is perhaps a little more general than some of the other, but it should also bring out some creativity too!

You are free to use any photographic technique you would like to use to capture this mundane object and feel free to post your entries on this thread as well to inspire others.

The starting date is Friday Sept 5th, and the challenge will run for 10 days through to the end of Monday Sept 15th.

Voting will start shortly after the finalists are selected and will last for a couple of days, and the winner will be announced shortly thereafter.

You can take as many shots as you wish but they must be taken within the challenge time frame to be considered as a finalist.

Please tag your entries mundane-rubber
