the list of previous challenges is long, and i had a bit of trouble coming up with something new... but it seems we've yet to use the boring old thumbtack, so... here we go!
You are free to use any photographic technique you would like to use to capture this mundane object and feel free to post your entries on this thread as well to inspire others.
The starting date is Monday September 22, and the challenge will run for 10 days through to the end of Wednesday October 1.
Voting will start shortly after the finalists are selected and will last for a couple of days, and the winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
You can take as many shots as you wish but they must be taken within the challenge time frame to be considered as a finalist.
