Well. I had intended to do a 12-hour vote-off as a tie-breaker yesterday, but I fell into a doughnut and chocolates coma last night and missed my 9:00 p.m. MST deadline I had set. I counted all the votes this morning, even those that had come in over the night. It was a tie: 42 votes for each photo. Since I had intended a 9:00 p.m. MST cut-off, I decided to count only the votes that had come in up until that time, hoping that would offer a clear winner. It was yet another tie: 38 votes for each photo.
Three ties. I'm just going to have to call this one a tie. Congratulations @katymac80 and @amyleewinfield. You both submitted fantastic work, and the answer is clear: you both are winners! You guys can chose who hosts the next technique challenge.
Thank you to everyone who submitted photos. They were all fantastic, and I had such a great time reviewing them all.
congratulations! i was in a tie once last year, we just divided the work. the other winner chose the subject and posted it, we determined and each chose 3 finalists, i counted the results and posted. not a bad gig to have a two-way tie.
