I'm very new to photography, and don't know what I'm doing to tell you the truth. But my friend asked me to take some pictures of her and her boyfriend. I have a couple locations in mind, but I was wondering what some of your favorite couple poses are and/or if any of you can give me some inspirational ideas of shots to help me along!
This is one of only two couple shots that I have posted on my 365 page,..hope it helps! One of my most favorite photogrpahers to look to for inspiration for couple shots has to be Ashleigh Jayne, check out her site---> www.ashleighjayne.com! Her photos are amazing!
Ok, I think you should be able to look at these. Here are a few pictures I did for a couple back in October. These are just very simple ideas. Just copy and paste the links and take a look.
Ooohh.. i have also been thinking about this, too. I think it's a fun experience because you, as the photographer, will have to "be in one" with your models. it's said that you'd have to have a personal idea of the subject(s) for you to be able to take some pretty serious & effective portraits. You said they are your friends, so I think the "get to know them" part is given already, hehe.. I suggest that you ask them what they want to see in the photos. Do they want playful, seriously romantic, plain sweet, walk in the sun shots, holding hands while walking, there are so many ideas.
@tamaralara So very true! I just checked out that website and her photos are simply stunning. Thanks for sharing that! Love the shot you've put up. Very nice momento for them.
This is a friend of mine from college. When she posted her engagement pictures I completely fell in love with this one. I offered her a suggestion that at every major milestone in their relationship that they repeat this photo style, holding the previous photo, and keep sort of a diary of their growth as a couple.
@emhoff This one is one of my favourites out of my older shots. It's an older couple who were really enjoying each others company... and my cheeky jokes. http://www2.clikpic.com/KBergman/images/_MG_1494_2.jpg
Nice to see the mature folks get a go at feeling young too.
