It's not difficult. 10-second shutter speed, get your model to hang about for three seconds or so, and then move quickly out of the way. Hey presto, your subject is rendered transparent.
See whether multiple exposure can bring you a nice ghostly effect as well.
Don't forget to tag your shots technique40. And post them in the main thread.
