Thank you to Ann @Olivetreeann for organizing the last Composite Challenge. And a big thank you to everyone who entered and voted – this is such a fun challenge and it’s wonderful that so many people are involved.
After looking at the list of past themes I thought we might try another rather open-ended theme.
So --- the theme for the Composite14 Challenge is “A strange Encounter”
Start of the challenge: 28/12/2018
Finish of the challenge: 27/1/2019
Tag for the challenge: Composite14
A composite photograph is one that is made up of several photographs or pieces of photographs which have been merged or layered together. It can also include textures and effects that have been applied to the picture as well. Composite photography gives you a lot of room for creativity and ingenuity as you manufacture photos composed of elements that might not necessarily be found together in reality but somehow they seem completely at home with one another in the picture.
For our composite challenge here on 365 you must use at least one picture that is completely yours but you can blend in other images, such as stock images, if you so choose. Just keep in mind that should you use an image that is not yours it should be licensed as free to use for any purpose.
You are very welcome to enter as many times as you wish - the more the merrier! However, to allow me to showcase the work of as many 365ers as possible, only one entry from any contestant may be chosen as a finalist. If you do enter more than one image I would appreciate it if you could let me know which one is your favourite.
Composite themes so far:
# 1 love
# 2 moon
# 3 shoes, sandals and feet
# 4 fruit and vegetable
# 5 animals
# 6 big and small / huge and tiny
# 7 place and space
# 8 it's just my imagination
# 9 Water
# 10 Surrealism
# 11 Darkness
# 12 Just priceless
#13 Birds
And lastly – it would be great if you could post some of your images to this post as well as the tag page. It will give us inspiration and it will keep the thread alive.
Cheers – looking forward to seeing your creations.

@northy But it fits the theme so well. I love the way he doesn't seem to find his surroundings at all strange! Thanks for entering and for posting it here - much appreciated. Cheers Rob
